My wife and I have been loyal, long-distance patrons of Boomerangs for some time, drawn by the consistently good food and enjoyable atmosphere. We visited recently with high expectations, but unfortunately, this particular experience fell well short of the usual standard.
We began by ordering boneless wings, only to learn they were unavailable—an unexpected issue for a product that is typically frozen and readily stocked. My wife opted for the chicken fingers as a substitute, but they proved disappointing: several pieces appeared heavily processed, with an overly spongy texture and portions that contained little to no actual chicken.
We are particularly fond of the signature Campfire Sauce, which usually enhances meals perfectly, but this time it tasted noticeably different—more peppery and lacking its familiar balance.
The fresh-cut French fries, another favorite, also missed the mark. They arrived overcooked, excessively browned, and unpleasantly crunchy, suggesting they may have been sitting for too long.
While our servers were polite and attentive, we sensed that the kitchen may have been aware of quality issues with these items, yet they were still served. To their credit, the staff did automatically comp the chicken fingers which we appreciated.
As regular customers who often travel to dine here, we were genuinely disappointed by this visit. We hope this feedback helps the team address these inconsistencies, as we would like to return when standards are back to their typical level.

A little dark inside and was cold. The food was good, service was great. My fries were not crisp, and needed another couple of minutes. Burger was excellent . My husband loved his wings. He loved his Burger but thought it was a bit messy.

Love this place! Stopped her to eat on the way to visit family and the food here is GREAT! The staff are the sweetest ppl, the atmosphere is inviting, and bathrooms are clean too. They have a pool table and some games and I believe they have DJ’s or Live Bands here too on different nights! We will definitely stop again!

We were passing through, while riding Adventure motorcycles on the PA BDR. Stopped in for lunch, and had a great burger and fries. Nice atmosphere and friendly staff. What more could you ask for?

My steak was good, my moms wings were cold and my dad liked his chicken the cucumber salad was delicious. Our first waitress was a little slow and seemed so miserable but the blonde we ended up having was really sweet and nice.
