I ordered the chicken Alfredo with a side Caesar salad and my husband ordered wings and fries. $5 margaritas on Saturdays and Sundays. We had a party of 5 and the restaurant was busy but there were still plenty of open tables, so not packed by any means.
Our server, Trey, provided us the worst service I have ever received and probably should be back of house not front.
Just simple common sense server things:
We rarely saw him. He checked on us two or three times total the entire meal.
– The salad did not come out with our friends’ appetizers. I had to ask for it after our entrees came out because that was the next time I saw him.
– I had to ask for silverware after my dinner arrived.
– Our food was warm, not hot, meaning it had been sitting for a few minutes.
– Trey never offered refills, so I had to ask for another coke and margarita. I actually ordered a third margarita and never received it. He said it was over on the bar and offered to bring it instead of removing it from the bill. I said no because I had ordered it more than ten minutes prior and we were ready to go.
– We had to ask for my husbands fries three times and they did not come out until we were done with the rest of our food even though the first time we asked about them, our server told us they had about a minute left.
– I asked for some boxes for my salad and Alfredo, and he came back with one box.
Will we return? Yes because $5 margaritas. However, if Trey is our server, we will be asking for a new one.
Various other customers who had ordered prior to arrival and I waited a good 8-10 minutes for someone to come to the “To-Go” area. One lady rounded the corner to greet someone’s attention (we now 7 ppl deep). The cashier said that there was a back up in the kitchen. It would be 45 mins to get an order.
Right then a guy heads out the door with a customer (in the main lobby) with at least 10-12 pizzas. Additionally I had observed a party of three go in and then quickly u-turn out the door (likely told the time to get their pizza order, which made up their mind to go elsewhere).
The menu looked really good. I will likely go back to give it a try while I am here.
I ended up finding a table and getting a burger next door instead.
