We were very surprised how bad this boomerang was we were there Tuesday 10 am. There were only 4 other tables occupied after I had to ask for 3 coffee refills out breakfast finally showed up burnt hard hashbrowns not eatable burnt bacon eatable overcooked eggs eatable. We are use to great food & service from boomerang on main street. & one in Cushing. Very disappointed in this new one

Arrived 9:32 am at boomarang on Perkins Stillwater ok. with us total of 8 customers in restaurant & 2 waitress
9:34. Took our order
Elvins ultimate breakfast
Big breakfast
9:45. Set empty coffee cup at end of table. No waitress in dinning area most of the time they stayed in back
Waitres walked past my empty coffee twice when helping booth behind us
About 9: 50 I believe it was 2 other waitress came to work
10:00 am. Breakfast finally came with over cooked hashbrowns greasy eggs

Asked for new hashbrown order that was not burnt & could hear them in kitchen saying what temperature is grill on,
And had to ask for coffee refill
10:10 am set empty coffee cup & end of table again
10:25 no waitress ever came by to refill my coffee. Or any other customers
Finally finished eating our breakfast & left paying the $ 33.30 bill using $25.00 gift card & cash
In the end Tristan was the most attentive waitress & gave a discount due to bad hashbrown gift card covered check fully
Don’t see any reason to return until cook & waitress get training so service will be as good as downtown & Cushing locations

Boomarang Diner is a new and very clean restaurant with friendly staff and fun classic décor. I tried the Elvin’s Omelet with hash browns and toast, and it was delicious and filling. Portions are generous, breakfast is served all day, and service is quick.

Jen was our initial server and she was AMAZING! That was the only good thing about our visit. We came in and it was a little busy which was fine. I understood there was going to be a wait. However, when everyone else has their food and is gone and the new customers that came in after me has their food and we still don’t that is concerning. All the servers except Jen walked by our table multiple times without saying a word. Not sure who is managing the place right now but I hope they can get their team trained with better customer service.

This morning (02/22/26) went in and found the fire department there because of some issue of CO2 (or thats all they kept telling people if asked. They did not communicate wheat exactly going on. Since it had something to do with CO2 and they had to open doors even AND the fact the spent a fire extinguisher while we all were in the restaurant, the should have communicated what was going on. I, as well as many other people have health issues where I can not be around CO2 near as long as even most people. I ended up leaving or trying too because I felt really sick. I tried to pay for the drinks since we still hadn’t gotten our food at this time and got told no since the food was almost ready, when I then said I wanted to pay anyways and leave as I was getting sick, they decided to bring out the food and still wouldn’t let me pay for my drinks to leave even though I tried for several minutes and was getting super dizzy and nauseous by then that I left my family and had to go outside and sit and wait on them. I am not happy with this boomerang at all. We have been there multiple times and never been treated like this. My whole family ended up sick today btw, throwing up, headaches and dizzy. Been really miserable. (Let’s add the fact I had originally ordered an appetizer, got charged for it and it never came either.)

My daughter and I stopped in for breakfast and nothing but wonderful!
My daughter had the breakfast sandwich on a croissant and the brunch fries, she said is was really good.
I had the big breakfast and enjoyed it.
Only complaint, I wish I took pictures to post!

I cannot speak highly enough for the service. Especially for Tristan, who met us at the door, and helped me, help my 88 year old mother in.
The service during the meal was very attentive, making sure we were happy with everything.
The food was top notch! I’ll definitely be back there often!

Ordered the chicken fried steak. Steak as thin as paper. The grease they cooked stuff in was rancid. My Dad could not even eat his tots the taste was so bad. Will not be going back .

Overall, decent enough, though I expected a bit more from the breakfast. If you have any dietary restrictions, your options are naturally limited, and substituting a meat choice was a bit painful. I would guess, though, if you’re looking for more of a lunch spot this place will deliver better.

Dine out. Got my order wrong by the time i noticed and drove back all my food was cold. For a flippant ‘Sorry’…. Stillwater has plenty restaurants that want my business, I’ll be paying them my hard earned money moving forward.
