What a terrible experience. The brown haired girl with glasses couldn’t even wait until we left before she started snickering and talking about us. The other with colorful pigtails could use some additional training. I’ve been in the business and this is terribly ran. Serving burnt toast and then when we requested a new piece they served us a piece with one side uncooked and went back to snicker at each other. They served appetizers and salads with the meal so everything was cold when ready to eat. This place needs an overhaul in customer service.

It’s been several years since I’ve dined at this restaurant. Now that we moved to the other side of town we just don’t make it back here very often.

This is comfort food the way you want it to be! My wife had been wanting to eat catfish for the past few weeks but just couldn’t decide where to get it from. The she mentioned Boomerang and I thought why not we’ve not been there since 2019; I have an app that keeps track of the restaurants I visit.

A 50’s/60’s style diner serving up food you love. Usually we come here for breakfast but today it was for dinner.

First time I’ve had their Chicken Fried Steak and it was worthy. A much thinner style that what I’m used to but it was worth the try & it turned out to be very good. Couldn’t decide on style of gravy so I got both! As a side I choose the coleslaw, I liked that it was served cold! Wasn’t necessarily my favorite because I felt it has to much onion for my liking.

Matthew the Assistant Manager gave us great tips and definitely recommended the AYCE Catfish. Not that my wife was going to eat that much catfish she only reordered once. I had to give it a try and as suggested by Matthew it was light & tasty! The first order comes out with 5 pieces of catfish followed by 3 pieces each time you decide you want more.

The great thing about the meal is that it wasn’t overly heavy which meant . . . . we could share a dessert! There is only one option which is the fried pie and perfect for sharing! We got ours a la mode which is their vanilla bean! Definitely worth it!

I love the fact that there were all sorts of memorabilia on the walls and this added to the overall feel for the diner. It may be a while before we get back here again but if you’re looking for a change of pace look no further than right here!

Nice vibe no pressure. Was greeted on entering and told sit where ever we would like. Nice server came up took out drink order and came back quick. Took food order and it was quick as well. Maybe a tad bit to much mustard on my patty melt but it was a juicy burger and flavors worked. Wife had the pork chop dinner and it was good as well. Hats off to the roasted corn very good flavors and texture.

Boomerang on Danforth in Edmond OK. I have not had a bad meal there. Food is always hot and fresh. Service is usually pretty good too. Simple menu done well!! Worth a visit! Chicken fried steak, fish sand, onion rings, fried mushrooms and their burgers are on point.

This place gives a mix of a 90s diner with outdoor drive in stalls.

I tried their basic old fashioned with cheese and I thought it was pretty good, their fries are soft and delicate. I would absolutely recommend this place.

According to their menu sign, they make their patties “Fresh, never frozen, 100% ground beef with no preservatives or additives”.

Its not a fast food place so I wouldnt expect your food to be out like one, but if you give them the extra time, its pretty good.

Almost $4 for this amount of fries is kind of ridiculous. Not to mention the $4 for 2 slivers of bacon and $2 for a slice of cheese

We ordered a ribbon sandwich and a double burger for DoorDash and fries and okra and tater tots
We got a hamburger that was ice cold. The bun was ice cold all the food was ice cold, including the ribbon and all the sides paid a lot of money for this very disappointed what is the point of having delivery if your food is not delivered hot

The only reason I stop into boomerang was because of the speedy drive-thru, so I thought they would be faster than sonic restaurant, but nope it took more than 30 minutes to receive three items. Before I placed my order, I asked them if they could put grilled onions on my burger. The waiters said yes, so I ordered the old fashion burger with grilled onions and all the fixing, small fry, and a strawberry shake. The total for three was $15. I repeat, the total for three items was $15. Can you say overpriced? My wait time was over 30 minutes when I received my items; the basket of fries had no seasoning, and the burger came without the grilled onions it was piled high with lettuce, and the tomato was cut thicker than the burger. Your better off ordering a kids meal. That’s the only thing that comes in a combo. The strawberry shake was the only thing that came out right. I won’t be returning.

I took my grandsons to Boomarang in Edmond. Was a little concerned after my last experience here, but they wanted milkshakes. Sooo impressed!!!! They have changed wait staff, cooks and overall atmosphere. We had homemade shakes within 5 minutes of ordering, food within 15 minutes. I tried the mushrooms again and just excellent. Grandsons had chicken strip basket and nacho tots. Best chicken I’ve had in years. Youngest grandson said chicken tasted different. I tasted it and told him that is REAL chicken. Not processed and frozen like fastfood restaurants. Oldest grandson loved nacho tots. Truly impressed with the changes and the place was PACKED when we left but service was fast and good. Good Job Guys!!!! I will be back!

We were excited to try the Edmond location after eating at the Boomerang Diner in Guthrie (which was excellent) a few months ago. We were disappointed after our visit because it certainly was not the same experience. We went at 1130am on a Sunday (September 21) and it wasn’t crowded at all. We ordered drinks right away and then waited a very long time for someone to take our order after finally getting someone’s attention from behind the counter. The food was just OK. No one ever came back by to see if we wanted drink refills or ask how our food tasted. Since no one ever came back by our table after delivering our food we had to go up to the counter to ask for our bill in order to pay. We will not return to this location. They had plenty of workers on the shift but they seemed to not notice their patrons.
