The restaurant was very busy at 1156 am 3/2/26 Tesla s. Was our server she was very nice and very personable. She was great at getting us refills on our drinks we drink a lot lol. She can and check on us several times.The other staff was also great you can tell they all work together as a great team. We spoke to every server on the floor due to them all making rounds. It was great to even see a manger circulating the restaurant our server even offered us Togo drink this was such a wonderful experience 10/10 will recommend.

We showed up with 27 people today. Walked in and asked could you handle this right now they said come on in. Not only where we welcome but they were fast friendly and we didn’t wait for anything but most of all the food was fantastic. A gentleman named Johnny got us all set up I think even cooked our food, then come back out and help get refills for us and because it was lunchtime. All I gotta say is way to go on the teamwork was going on here today. This crew rocked it today.

And then when it came time to pay we were ignore and had to go up to register to pay while others got to pay from where they were sitting. And it wasn’t even that busy.

Came here today & when I walked in they said sit wherever you would like but 90% of the tables were not cleared off just sitting their with dishes on them so whatever we sat down somewhere and the waitress was noticeably new, I didn’t see a grilled chicken sandwich on their and I asked her if they had them and she said I don’t know honestly this is only my second day, which is totally understandable but go ask someone, so we stood their for a minute and she was like I’m gonna go ask and then I asked her what came on it and she smiled and said I don’t know let me go ask, again I totally understand she was just nervous, stressed out, and probably embarrassed but why would someone not be assisting her? She was not ready at all to be on her own.we ordered our food and she said that they had ran out of silverware that they would have to make some more up, I got halfway through my appetizer and finally asked another woman if I can have some silverware and she brought me some but I was already almost done with the food. My friend that was with us asked if he could get some ranch and a bowl for his cheese curds, the girl went up their and asked the cook in the back and I heard her say really loud just because they order cheese curds does not mean it automatically comes with silverware and ranch. This to me was very unprofessional they way she was talking to her. So another waitress brings our actual order out and I get my food and it’s not a grilled chicken it’s a grilled cheese, and she was like I’m so sorry I’m gonna go tell them they messed up because it was rung up right just not made right and also I didn’t like that my 3 year old got her food after everyone else and had to wait, she apologized a thousand times and was like I can get you whatever else you want but I was so irritated I just told her it was okay just take it off the ticket and I won’t get anything, she did still offer me the fries and asked me multiple times if I was sure I didn’t want anything that she would get it rushed, so I appreciate that. I have never had an issues here so I was pretty disappointed this morning. I also feel really bad that my waitress was so overwhelmed like she was, someone please follow her around until she gets a better knowledge of things!!!

Boomerang Diner in Durant is so cute inside with all the old timey decorations! It was very clean inside and the staff were so friendly and attentive! I had the Ultimate BLT sandwich which was so scrumptious because of the spectacular amount of bacon with mayo, lettuce, and tomato! We had the Rebel Burger with Jif peanut butter and it was delicious as well!! We tried the 50/50 with fried pickles and fried mushrooms which were so tasty! We will definitely be back and suggest you try it as well!

This was our first time at Boomarang Diner and the food was very good. We loved the whole staff. They all get 5 stars. The 1950s atmosphere was so cool. Even the 1950s music just hit the spot. Will definitely come back.

Hunni and I went here for breakfast this morning, nice little restaurant. It was NOT crowded, which always works for me!!! Some man DID sneeze REALLY LOUD a few times, not sure if it was on purpose or not, so ugh!!! Glad we were VERY socially distant from them, but it still made me uncomfortable. However, the food was pretty good, GREAT coffee. I had the Big Ham Country Breakfast, and Hubby had the French Toast Breakfast. All for right at $35, not bad!!! 10.15.21

The food was good. However they lost the ticket for it order. After waiting around 20 minutes another waitress come over to our table to retake our order and then explained someone put our order on the wrong ticket. Finally that got our food out. It was warm, taste good, exactly what we ordered. I had to flag the waitress down to refill it drinks. It was chaos in there. I would not recommend visiting this location.
