Love this little place! Staff was friendly and offered samples for us to try. Many unique options. They make the waffle cones fresh for you. We took ours to the park and ate it, but they have seating outside and inside as well.
You can get a flight or mini flight of ice cream! How fun is that?

Terrible service. I’ve never experienced such poor customer service before. My boyfriend and I went here for the first time today. The ice cream itself was great, but the service completely ruined the experience.
This was the Edmond location on 2/21/26 at 9:10pm.
The (probably high school–aged) girl with a blonde ponytail was extremely rude and acted like we were an inconvenience. There were three people taste testing ahead of us, so we were waiting to see all the flavors, which was totally fine. She came over and asked what we wanted before we could even see everything. When I asked a question about the cookie butter flavor, she responded with an attitude.
They ran out of that flavor, and since I saw how much came in one scoop, I decided my boyfriend and I could just share. I politely asked for a bowl so we could share, and she aggressively handed it to me, mumbled something, rolled her eyes, and walked away. I was genuinely shocked by how disrespectful she was.
While we were waiting to be helped, she was on her phone talking about her friend coming in and continued rolling her eyes while helping us. We were very simple customers, we only tried two flavors and checked out. There was a line out the door, and after rudely helping us, she didn’t help anyone else.
This was very disappointing, and I personally won’t be coming back. However, the woman with black hair who checked us out was very kind and sweet.

Such a cute little ice cream shop with many different flavors to choose from. We sampled many flavors and ended up doing the 6 scoop mini flight. I will definitely come back. And they do military discounts too.

My boyfriend and I arrived around 8:15pm to celebrate National Ice Cream Day on Sunday, July 16th. Neither of us had been to Boom Town Creamery before. We had a brief wait in line, but it gave us time to appreciate this new establishment. It was clean and service was very friendly. They had several flavor options. He has a sweet tooth and we were also celebrating his birthday so we both each splurged for a mini flight ($8.50 each). The flavors were all unique and perfectly crafted. There was little seating inside, but they had open outside patio seating. We are already looking forward to coming again to either location.

4 stars! Only thing that would bring it to 5 star is a restroom to hose down kids after lol!
Manager Addi was an absolute pleasure! She made an excellent experience and had a smile the whole time. Owners did a great job putting her in the position.
Ice cream was over the top delicious. There was great flavor and consistency. Most ice cream shops have a little flavor and a lot of sugar. This one had the flavor that you look for! Rich in flavor great texture and a great assortment. They had vegan options as well. Waffle cones are made on location which is another plus!
Also love that they have options to take home. Even Merch to support them. Great local place. Will be back.

Used to be our go to spot for ice cream. However we can only have certain vegan flavors so we call ahead to see if we should make the trip or not.
They have now made it impossible to directly call a store and instead you can text them of leave a message.
Waiting around for hours for a call or text does not work well. Sad that it’s come to this.

This is our new desert addiction, the ice cream from here was outrageously delicious and left us wanting more. They offer fun flavors with pleasantly overwhelming flavor choices. It’s crazy just how many choices there were. Which is good because the quantity is limited per flavor and there were multiple flavors that had already sold out for the day when we visited. If by chance you don’t see anything you like, you are in luck because they offer seasonal flavors that change throughout the year, such as Carrot Cake when we visited. Even vegans or those that are lactose intolerant can enjoy dessert from here. They offered a vegan Thai Tea option which I assume was lactose free but I’m not positive on that. They do offer fast acting lactaid pills ($1.50 for two pills I believe) for those who are lactose intolerant and don’t have pills with them.
We greatly appreciated being able to sample multiple flavors before buying and the lady working was friendly and helpful the entire time and never once became impatient or annoyed with our indecisiveness or questions. We also appreciated how well lit and low the ice cream freezer display was for viewing all the various ice cream names and flavors even for those that happen to be in a wheelchair or may be short in height.
The only cons would have to be regarding the seating which was limited and mainly confined to the outdoors, there may have been two stools within the building for customers if I remember correctly. Outside though there were only four tables and one table only seated two. So we noticed a lot of people standing around since there were no available seats or tables for them. Also since there was only one person working, there was no one to bus or clean the tables. Which might not usually be an issue but apparently a disrespectful party of four left all their trash and uneaten full cups of ice cream that melted onto the tables just laying around. The only trash can available was located within the building with no trash cans available outdoors where the only real seating for customers happened to be.
Overall though this place is definitely worth visiting and has some outstandingly delicious top notch ice cream that is so creamy and rich it puts other ice creams to shame. I mean I don’t even like bananas but actually enjoyed their Banana Foster. But we highly recommend the Peanut Butter Cookie flavor, as my wife is not a big fan of peanut butter but stole my ice cream and left me with the banana foster.

Located very close to Tamashii Ramen and Hideaway pizza. If you’re craving for good desserts after having food, this is a great place to go. They have some pretty unique flavors and most of them were really good. We tried tiki passion and coffee flavored ice cream and we were really impressed and we are definitely coming here often for sure.

Conveniently located in Downtown Edmond by the museum and city park, (which is currently undergoing renovations), Boomtown creamery has very rich and flavorful ice cream with a good variety of flavors to choose from. The pricing is fair to good for portion size I got with their “single scoop” size. It seemed like more than a scoop to me, but that’s a good thing, of course! The only drawback would be the tiny size of the place. If you bring a large group, you better hope the weather is nice because you won’t have room to sit anywhere. It’s definitely worth going there for desert to go after a pleasant dinner at one of the restaurants nearby, though.
