We ordered through GrubHub and that may help to explain our lackluster experience. We were amazed at the mini size of the scallops in the seafood broil. The whiting box was much better and far more reasonably priced. We were open to exploring the variety of dining experiences available in D.C. but definitely can’t recommend this one.

Being forced to pay a mandatory tip for such a terrible experience is outrageous. Tips are supposed to be earned, not demanded—especially when the food is bad, the portions are ridiculously small, and the prices are insanely high.
What you get is overpriced, underwhelming food that doesn’t come close to justifying the cost. I left feeling ripped off and frustrated. This place clearly prioritizes squeezing money out of customers instead of providing quality food or service.
Charging mandatory gratuity while serving poor food and tiny portions is unacceptable. There are plenty of better seafood places that actually respect their customers.
Do yourself a favor and eat somewhere else. I will never return

The only positive is the place was empty. My experience explains why. If i could give -0 star, I would. The notices on the door and table stated that due to customers walking out, you have to pay for your food upfront. On that bill a automatic tip is added . The problem is the service was terrible from the time we sat down. The bathroom was not clean , had a stench and no toilet paper in the stalls. Smh.. i could go on. Im going to stop here. I would not come back nor recommend. Chicken wings was fried so hard a few broke from me simply picking up the wings. They fell to the floor lol. My boil came with a potato. My potato serving in the bag was not even a whole potato. It was a fourth of a quarter russet potato. I cannot make this up . The Boom sauce i ordered in my bag (Mussels half done BTW) was smh.. We were a party of three. Ordered different things with different sauce for our boils. However, all our boils tasted the same and were not good.

The waiter didn’t offer us any thing to drink like water, soda or juice.. I got a crawfish boil and end up throwing it up while still in the middle eating. It lack in sauce and seasoning .. it was very empty on a Friday night. Other than that the drink she made for me was good. I won’t go back again..

I just came here yesterday at 2:30 in the afternoon. I was so excited that home depot actually opened a seafood restaurant. I was so excited to try it right away. It tasted great for the first time. I ordered an extra chili sauce for $2. 3 people ordered a set meal of 68$, the amount is super Too much. Immediately invited another friend the next day. My friend likes to have whole shrimp. We ordered an extra half pound for $10. I ordered another hot sauce. The experience on the second day made me very disappointed. , the $10 whole shrimp has only 5 pieces, 3 more shrimp heads, and the shrimp meat is still rotten and stale. This is why we paid for half a pound of shrimp (I suspect that the shrimp has been eaten) and told the front desk lady, she just Let’s wait until 18 minutes, no one comes to talk to us, we are very hungry. Don’t wait any longer. Attitude is really important! ! We didn’t get respect, we also gave the waiter a 20% service charge, I know it has nothing to do with him. But we won’t go again.. Remind all customers to take inventory of the value you pay every time you go . very bad.

It’s FINALLY OPEN YALLY … From walking in, Ur greeted by the friendly staff, the decor, and the food was pretty good. The reason I gave it a 4 rating: THE BAR WASN’T OPEN YET…. THAT’S RIGHT…NO ALCOHOL (They said another 2 weeks). I’ll be back then. Thxs Serenity (U were Great!!!)….Yesss..It’s Friday 7/7/23, I told y’all I’ll be back when the bar was open (although not fully stocked yet), Do go see Sinthya, She makes da bomb drinks (Strawberry Mango Daiquiri & Green Tea…Sooo good ), then I tried “Juicy Special Wings , and the hush puppies & Cheese Crab Meat Fries (also )…I WILL be back….Thx Sinthya ❤️ And now they have a live DJ every Friday

Plastic silverware & paper plates. The host is also the bartender so you will wait for service as she plays on her phone. Had a lemon drop asked for a sugar rim…. this was the result martini it was the worst experience.

Horrible service. Waitress acts as though she doesn’t want to service Black patrons despite doing business in a black neighborhood. In addition the restaurant is filthy, bathrooms have urine all on the floors, smells of mold, bar counters are littered with empty martini glasses and used napkins. The 3.7 rating they have is astounding as the service and space alone isn’t even worthy of that.
