The space is LGBTQ+ friendly and very family-friendly, which I really appreciated. Their drink menu is amazing — both alcoholic and non-alcoholic options. It was early, so I tried a toasted marshmallow cappuccino and browsed through all the funko pops!
The staff member was incredibly friendly and welcoming. Such a great spot to relax, play, and explore. Highly recommend!
Servers are always friendly and check in frequently to see if we need anything.
Food is good (love the pretzel!).
Their rotating lineup of craft beers is impressive, featuring everything from light ales to rich, decadent stouts. Whether you’re a casual beer drinker or a craft connoisseur, you’ll find something to love on tap. There’s always something new to try, so each visit is a fresh experience.
The food menu offers exactly what you crave in a relaxed taproom setting—grilled cheese sandwiches, pretzels, charcuterie boards, and comforting pub-style fare that pair perfectly with their brews. It’s simple, tasty, and hits the spot after a long day.
What truly sets Books & Brews apart is its welcoming, family-friendly environment. It’s a place where you can bring your kids, gather with friends for trivia or board games in the evening, or enjoy a laid-back date night with live music playing softly in the background. The staff are known for their kindness and attentiveness, treating guests like old friends.
Whether you’re browsing books, sipping beer, playing games, or catching local musicians, Books & Brews Brownsburg offers a comforting, unique experience that leaves you feeling connected and at home. It’s more than a taproom or bookstore – it’s a community gathering space that Brownsburg is lucky to have.
Books and Brews is also always bringing in different breweries. This week it was Hopping Frog from Ohio. Boy do they have some delicious beers.
I hope this local businesses is around for a long time!!!!
The game selection was well used and geared towards party games more than heavier strategy or tabletop games. Tables were large enough to accommodate six people, food and game boards.
They were out of several drinks (it is the holidays) but they were able to help direct us to some nice selections that matched our tastes. Food was hot and delicious. We had the pulled pork sandwich and chicken bacon ranch flatbread.
We went early on a Saturday afternoon so it wasn’t crowded but started to fill up as the afternoon went on. Enjoyed the casual atmosphere and hopefully can convince some non-gaming friends to come join me for a night out soon.
