While visiting from Ontario, Canada, I popped into this adorable store and instantly loved the vibe. They have tons of games available to play, and you’re even welcome to bring your own. Throughout the week they host fun events like bingo, themed game nights, and trivia.

The space is LGBTQ+ friendly and very family-friendly, which I really appreciated. Their drink menu is amazing — both alcoholic and non-alcoholic options. It was early, so I tried a toasted marshmallow cappuccino and browsed through all the funko pops!

The staff member was incredibly friendly and welcoming. Such a great spot to relax, play, and explore. Highly recommend!

My D&D group come and play several hours on Saturdays. Patrons have always been respectful of others while eating, playing games, or any other activities that have been going on.

Servers are always friendly and check in frequently to see if we need anything.

Food is good (love the pretzel!).

If you’re looking for a place where cozy bookstore vibes meet delicious craft beer, Books & Brews in Brownsburg is your new Happy Place. The front room welcomes you with shelves of used books, each just a few dollars, creating a warm, literary atmosphere the moment you walk in. There’s something magical about sipping a cold beer surrounded by stories waiting to be discovered.

Their rotating lineup of craft beers is impressive, featuring everything from light ales to rich, decadent stouts. Whether you’re a casual beer drinker or a craft connoisseur, you’ll find something to love on tap. There’s always something new to try, so each visit is a fresh experience.

The food menu offers exactly what you crave in a relaxed taproom setting—grilled cheese sandwiches, pretzels, charcuterie boards, and comforting pub-style fare that pair perfectly with their brews. It’s simple, tasty, and hits the spot after a long day.

What truly sets Books & Brews apart is its welcoming, family-friendly environment. It’s a place where you can bring your kids, gather with friends for trivia or board games in the evening, or enjoy a laid-back date night with live music playing softly in the background. The staff are known for their kindness and attentiveness, treating guests like old friends.

Whether you’re browsing books, sipping beer, playing games, or catching local musicians, Books & Brews Brownsburg offers a comforting, unique experience that leaves you feeling connected and at home. It’s more than a taproom or bookstore – it’s a community gathering space that Brownsburg is lucky to have.

Amazing place. Community oriented. Fantastic craft beer selection. If you like books, board games, or beer, stop looking for anywhere else to go. Tuesday and Thursday nights with Amanda at the bar are the best.

I have been coming here for over 2 years. It is a second home for my husband and I. Always rotating taps, so you can always find something delicious. One of the only family friendly bar atmospheres that seems truly family friendly. There is a wall of games always available to play. Sometimes they are missing pieces, but that is to be expected with so many individuals playing them.
Books and Brews is also always bringing in different breweries. This week it was Hopping Frog from Ohio. Boy do they have some delicious beers.

I hope this local businesses is around for a long time!!!!

Nice place to relax, enjoy a game and food with friends.

The game selection was well used and geared towards party games more than heavier strategy or tabletop games. Tables were large enough to accommodate six people, food and game boards.

They were out of several drinks (it is the holidays) but they were able to help direct us to some nice selections that matched our tastes. Food was hot and delicious. We had the pulled pork sandwich and chicken bacon ranch flatbread.

We went early on a Saturday afternoon so it wasn’t crowded but started to fill up as the afternoon went on. Enjoyed the casual atmosphere and hopefully can convince some non-gaming friends to come join me for a night out soon.

We visit this place regularly as they allow us to host our large Dungeons & Dragons game there. It’s a great place with an atmosphere that combines the feeling of a library, a game store, and a bar & grill. They always have a great selection of rotating taps and everything we’ve tried from the menu has been delicious.
