After a morning of exploring and shopping on a hot summer day, I decided I needed a beer or two to replenish my spirit. With that in mind, I visited Boojum Brewery Taproom for a flight and a pretzel. If you like hops, I recommend Boojum. The beers were tasty and the pretzel was good. As an added bonus, the sell a number of cool t-shirts and other beer related paraphernalia.

Tacos are awesome. Wings are big and yummy. Ranch is runny should be thicker. Asked to get 2 different sauces to mix and was told the cooks would do it. Its not that big a deal to mix the sauces. Then asked to then have one of the sauces to the side and server was really confused about the request…..idk y but whatever

Boojum is our go-to spot after a hike or day out enjoying our mountains. The food is always (always!) good and we love that they use local meat and farm-fresh produce. They have a lively bar and lots of seating. We usually have to wait about 20 minutes for a table, but that’s ok because this place is very popular with locals and tourists. We do avoid going over the Halloween holiday as my younger children find the decor disturbing. But other than that, 5-stars!

We stayed in a cabin nearby for a couple nights and tried Boojum on Friday for drinks at the bar, then ending up coming back Saturday for lunch! The bartender Freeman was great, and gave us insider tips on other restaurants we should visit. The truffle fries, hot chicken sandwich, and fish tacos were all delicious. We will definitely come back next time we visit the area!

Stumbled upon this town by accident and found this jem of a place. Had the best chicken sandwich of my entire life!!! This place was AMAZING! Everything was delicious! We had Parmesan Truffle fries for an appetizer, so I got the fried green beans for my side. Everything was delicious, perfectly cooked and full of flavor. Sweet tea was perfectly sweetened and fresh. Atmosphere was great, service was great. Definitely would love to go again!

Stopped in for lunch. Super busy, but staff was still friendly. It took a little bit longer than I’d like to get the chow, but was super tasty. Good music. Didnt get a chance to try the beer D.D. maybe next time!
