I just ordered 2 chicken dinners and other items ($45) that had tooo much salt, I couldn’t eat it. I called and spoke with someone and they told me to bring it back for a refund or have them recook it. I explained I’m too far, tired and hungry, she provided no other options than mentioned. Very disappointed, this is why I can’t support black owned businesses. Lost a potential customer from Chi! ♀️

I had the double Cheeseburger and it has been the best burger thus far I have had in Houston… Hands down!! I am from Chicago and was very impressed of the Authenticity of the food. It was well season and the meat was of good quality.I met the owner and the young lady behind the counter and they both were very friendly. I definitely will be back!!

Ordered the rib tips and a friend ordered the fried chicken wings. Both came with french fries and we were both FULLY satisfied. The rib tips were placed in a little paper bowl on top of the fries and white bread, all all smothered in great tasting bbq sauce. Anyone from Chicago knows…this is how rib tips are supposed to be eaten!!! Paper bowls and lots of sauce!!! LOL the meat was so tender it kept falling off the bones!!! The fries were fresh, hot and perfect!! I cant wait to get there again to get some more!! I wish they were open on Sundays!!! Would be perfect meal for after church!!!!!

I must say Boogie’s is one of my guilty pleasures. when Im craving bbq i don’t visit chain restaurants i drive to the hood. This bbq reminds me of family cook outs. When I taste the home made spicy bbq sauce its makes me feel like my crazy uncle is out back at the pit. My standard order is the two meat plate. I choose Chicago Styled Rib Tips (what they’re known for) and the sliced sausage. This plate currently comes with 2 sides. I really love the potato salad and we all know you just don’t eat anybodies potato salad. The portion size is excellent. I always get at least 2 meals out of it. If you are in a rush or on your lunch break its best you call ahead your order. Additional items i have tasted are the roasted turkey legs, boudain, ribs, and brisket. If you have and order over $30 they currently have delivery options. They have two tables and a few chairs for seating while you wait but not many to sit and eat. Depending on the day and time you may be able to stay. We all have our favs for food so when the craving for bbq comes..Boogies has consistently been my choice. Note: Ladies if the smell of bbq will cling to your clothes or hair be aware because its thick in the air and in all the furniture. If possible send your man in for the pick up to avoid this, if not refresh the perfume before your next stop. – THE CURVEY CONNOISSEUR –
