If you want Cajun food dont come here, this is a poor attempt at cajun.
First we got the fried alligator as an appetizer. The fries were amazing. The fried alligator was not bad just missing some flavor.
Next the main dishes. I had the chicken fried steak.upon arrival it looked decent. When I cut into the chicken fried steak the steak was half an inch smaller than the breading on all sides. On top of that the breading just fell off the steak. Everything had a strong viniger taste to it. I could not finish eating. I expected more cajun seasoning for a cajun restaurant.
My significant other had the salmon. She enjoyed the salmon and said it was cooked well and had great flavor.
Maybe just order the salmon and some fries if you are going to stop by.

Wife and I had the fried catfish lunch with red beans and rice and French fries
Quality of food matched the price. We were seated quickly and our server didn’t rush us to order. Kitchen to table was a short wait, food was hot and fresh. I believe employees want to make your visit pleasurable. Our visit was.

We came for lunch with our family of five. The food was the highlight—especially the crab bisque and gumbo. Everything was seasoned perfectly—no salt or pepper needed! Service was just okay. The hostess was cordial, and our server was adequate but not very engaging. It’s on the pricier side for lunch, but the flavor makes it worth it if you’re craving Cajun food.

Great catfish! The green beans were delicious. Great flavor. Our waiter was fantastic and pleasant to talk to. He made sure we had everything we needed. It wasn’t busy at all since we got there around 2pm so it was a peaceful and enjoyable experience.

I have been coming to Boo Ray’s across their multiple locations for well over ten years. I have ordered the grilled chicken every single one of those times. Today, my to-go grilled chicken was literal jerky. Now, one bad food experience out of hundreds of positive food experiences is not necessarily enough to deter me. However, I write this review in order to inform upper management. If Iwere a business owner, I would want to know of such a shift in customer satisfaction. For instance, had this been my first time dining at Boo Ray’s, 1 would honestly never return. I follow the whole fool me once shame on you, fool me twice shame on me. So… If changes have been made for the worse – I will simply cease from dining. Eating out just cost too much financially and calorically to not enjoy your food.

We were greated by several employees when walking in, which made us feel comfortable. The service was outstanding and every question we had was answered. The food was hot, fresh and delicious. There is no way you should leave hungry. Definitely get the bread pudding for desert. It was a piece of heaven. We will definitely be going back!

Not pictured, my husband’s jalapeno catfish. We have been here 3x and it has been delicious every time (he may have ordered it 3x)! Their side salad is freshly cut lettuce, not that bagged salad taste. The fried shrimp were definitely hand battered, even the kid’s popcorn size shrimp look/taste hand battered! Our server in the bar area greeted us and immediately wiped down the table without us asking tonight. We have had super friendly service all 3 times and that also makes a business memorable!

We chose this place for a birthday celebration because we heard they have good Cajun style seafood. The crab cakes were so tasty that we devoured them before remembering we should have taken a photo. The only thing missing at this Cajun dining establishment is the Cajun spirit of letting the good times roll. Most of the wait staff seemed to be lacking joy, which makes me wonder if this isn’t a fun place to work
