These guys are always on point and the guy taking orders is always nice and helpful. I’ve ordered endless rolls and different hibachi combos from this place and every time I know what my food is going to be like. The first time i came i was skeptical with how good this food will taste. I got the shrimp hibachi and my daughter got the chicken dumplings. The flavor of the food was AMAZING!!! and for a picky eater like me i was surprise to be 100% satisfied! The owner and the coworkers are awesome. They make you feel like family! I will recommend for anyone to just walk in and try it! You won’t be dissatisfied!

New ownership as of 9/21. Chef and owner don’t know what their food tastes like. Food tastes like burnt sugar and unmet expectations. The new guy on sushi has an objectively worse skill set than the gentlemen who fed us throughout the pandemic. This used to be a good restaurant.

I went there today, the 2nd time this week. I got the Volcano Sushi and the Hibachi Filet Mignon (The sushi was very fresh and flavorful and the Hibachi was outstanding!). Other than that, the place is very clean, the owner is very nice, and the food is halal. I definitely recommend :))

The sushi is phenomenal. The owner is the sushi chef and takes pride in preparing great sushi. He is personable and create a positive atmosphere. The cook is great. Has WiFi and is a great place to chill. The place is very clean. I am there twice per week.

To be honest I have never experienced a sushi coma before. However, after eating at Bonsai Japanese Express, when my husband arrived home he said that all he heard was snoring from me and the kids. And that my youngest one had fallen asleep in the bathroom floor. We ordered some California rolls, shrimp tempura rolls, and a volcano roll. We spent a very reasonable $42 and had leftovers. That was quite the value for some very delicious sushi. So to the owner, thanks for picking our neighborhood. Will be back soon.

Only Halal Japanese restaurant in town. Excellent service great food. Tried their “crazy sushi” last night it was amazing. Had all flavors and textures you can get in several sushis combined. My mom doesn’t eat sushi but she liked their “chicken bento box”. I like their “shrimp tempura” rolls and wife loves the “caterpillar” roll. It’s a Halal restaurant so you have to try other meat dishes which are on my list for next time .

Ordered sushi deluxe online priced $29, when I picked up they charged $39, they said they raised prices for the pandemic and posted a notice on their website. I just got home and found out they didn’t include the miso soup like the menu says. Definitely overpriced and shady practice

I tried the Hibachi chicken. It was okay for the cost. It had a lot of rice and smelled great but I have had better flavor and more vegetables at the mall chain. However, it was not greasey like the one at the mall. So, that’s a plus. I will go back and try some of their rolls next time.

I have eaten there a few times and I can express enough how great the customer service is as well as the food. The prices are reasonable and its different and fresh from the fast food. The salmon is fresher than Outback and longhorn. I will be going back today
