The food was good for Wyoming. The Chinese entrees are also good with generous portions. Can bring large groups. Plenty of parking.

Question: Can you find good Sushi in Wyoming? Answer: Absolutely. Bonsai with a mixed identity of Japanese and Chinese has some surprisingly outstanding sushi. WE passed on the Chinese and went solely with the Japanese. I always get a spider roll wherever I go for sushi. The one here was disappointing (the reason for a one star loss). They put lettuce in the roll and it actually over powered the crab. Just could not taste the soft shell. The other things we ordered were very good. The eel nearly melted in my mouth, the yellow tail was superb and the presentation was very nice. The service was fast and attentive, with all wait staff pitching in on all tables. Limited sake options which was a drawback.

The lunch menu has lots of reasonably-priced specials, and you aren’t left hungry. I had the chicken lo-mein, which comes with brown rice and an egg roll. There was plenty to eat and it was delicious. The egg drop soup has lots of vegetables. Service was excellent. Recommended!

Was only passing through. Got Take out, didn’t try the sushi.
The dipping sauce for the dumplings was great. The chicken in the chow mein was way better than the chicken in the salad. Would eat there again.

This place was absolutely delicious!
I broke my 6 year streak of not eating sushi. Who would’ve thought it’d come to an end in Wyoming??? And what a delicious end it was.
Husband’s dish had like a half a head of broccoli. Fantastic!
My kung pao had almost like 2 whole bell peppers. Amazing. And soooo much shrimp.
We ordered way more than usual, but apparently we had no trouble clearing our plates because no to-go boxes are heading back to our room at the Hilton.
Entrees came with steamed white rice. No additional charge. Not shown in photos.

The food here was great for Wyoming. The thai iced tea is definitely a must. However the Japanese terriaki chicken was not the best definitely get the combination or the sesame chicken instead.

While driving to Nevada from Denver, my road trip party and I pulled off to enjoy some food at Bonsai. I read a bunch of reviews that said their sushi was good, and I had to try it out for myself, seeing as Bonsai is in Wyoming and thus not near the sea. I needed to know if their sushi was as fresh as claimed. I have to say that it was pretty darn good ! The service was a bit slow, and it was a tad bit expensive, but I understand that it was expensive because it has to be shipped in. If I ever find myself back in Wyoming with a sushi craving, I would definitely go back. I forgot to take a pic of the menu and thus I forgot what rolls we ordered. They are shown below.
