4.8/5 for the tom cruise and 4.7/5 for the pocahontas sandwich. I think this is one of the best sandwich places that I’ve had in California. I’d say definitely in the top 5. The place was also pretty relaxing and prices were reasonable.

Plenty of parking and seating makes this quaint and inviting sandwich downtown shop an easy place to frequent. Their sandwich’s are cleverly named after celebrities which only adds to the fun. Always fresh and plenty of variety. They even have daily special’s making it a special treat to look forward to your weekly favorite. During the week I like the Katie Holmes and on Fridays the Richard Pryor, a special grilled cheese served with tomato soup. I also appreciate that they carry several Zero sodas which isn’t yet widely available everywhere. The service is friendly and fast. Give this sandwich shop a try!

The sandwiches are very small for the price, along with foul tasting olives. Its cute and stylistic, but the food is nothing special.

Don’t feel like cooking… This is your place! They make a different casserole every night. I’ve had several and they all have been great. They come in two sizes, 2 servings $14 or four servings $22.50. I got the two serving Sicilian Tortilla Cannelloni, simply delicious! I also got some baked dinner rolls. You also can get a salad.
Casserole in oven for 25 mins or you can microwave it. Always outstanding. They do run out so call in to reserve one to go.

Food was awesome. You go in and order the food, then pick it up and take it to your table. Got a chicken salad sandwich I split with my sister. Fresh bread. Dill pickle wedge given to both of us. Not tons of seating. Have had some of their dinner meals (casserole you take and bake) and enjoyed them.

Let me paint you guys a picture. My dad is in surgery right now while I’m waiting to get the call to go get him. I’m driving around. Hungry but for a different plate than my usual and rowdy places. Drove by, never ever heard of this place before. Decided to stop and check it out. I walked in, greeted kindly, and asked what’s the deal here, do I sit and get my order taken or order and sit. Total noob I know asked for recommendations and got two, The Tom cruise and Brummer. Ordered the Brummer and sat on a corner stool. Most relaxed while eating a simple yet tasty sandwich ever. I’d give em another try on a different sandwich or get familiar with their menu b4 coming again.

Horrible Customer service from the moment I walked in! The pasta salad was horrible seemed to be like it was old. I also decided to get the macadamia nut cookie, and it was hard as a brick. I will definitely not be going back if I could put a 0 I would’ve.

My dad and I always come here. The soups are very good and I love the atmosphere. This place has its own style..don’t change that.

The sandwiches speak for themselves here! Named after Hollywood stars each sandwich is fun to order and delicious to eat. Service is efficient and polite and the atmosphere depends on the time of day. As a downtown sandwich shop, lunchtime is always busy and a bit of a wait but after the shop it is quite peaceful.
