Very pleasant experience. We ordered from the menu, but there is an all day buffet available. Staff is very friendly. Hometown feel. Got the double cheeseburger, which is the largest burger I’ve ever eaten in My life. I was only able to finish half of it. Very reasonable pricing. Great experience overall.

Bonnie’s Cafe has a really good buffet. The salad bar has very many choices. They had fried chicken, Salisbury steak, catfish and spaghetti. Mashed potatoes with both kinds of gravy, 3 different veggies and chicken and dumplings. They also serve beer. On Friday eve they have a seafood buffet. We will be going there more often.

Buffet was not very good, Mac and cheese tasted like the box brand with the powder cheese. The chicken was dry and the only three time’s the waitress came to our table was to bring our drinks, bring a spoon to stir my coffee, which I had to get her attention to ask for, and bring the check. Definitely not worth $37.48, but I still left a tip because I blame the management for not training her properly.

I cannot give Bonnie’s enough stars. First off, our server Randi was wonderful. We have celiac and when we told her, she understood and put it all over our ticket. So no problems there. Sunday morning, very crowded, food came out quickly, hot and delicious. Very reasonable prices, I can see why everybody eats here. This will be our go to from now on.

Food was okay at first. Ordered two pancakes and the three meat omelette. Atmosphere is not welcoming to people of color. stoped here on my way to carbondale to visit my friends at SIU. Got food poisoning a couple hours later and became very ill. They brought my food in containers instead of plates. Was ignored by the waiting staff and had to wave them down just to get a water. It’s 2025 shameful to see places like this still exist. Do better.
