Great little Vietnamese restaurant with awesome service. The staff were very friendly and efficient. The food was also very good. We tried their Banh Mi, vermicelli bowl, pho, beef stew and Vietnamese coffee. Everything was very good, 2 thumbs up. It’s a small place with limited seating. Located in a strip shopping centre you should be able to find free parking either out front or in the adjacent lot.

I have been to this Vietnamese restaurant three times now and have really enjoyed it each time. The food feels thoughtful and well put together, with a subtle French influence that adds polish without taking away from the Vietnamese flavors.

One of my favorites has been the mixed noodles. The sauce is rich with a gentle heat that is easy to enjoy, and the combination of crispy wontons and chicken works very well together. Each bite has good balance and texture without feeling heavy.

Their pho is also excellent. The broth is comforting and flavorful, with a noticeable cinnamon note that adds warmth and depth. It is clean, aromatic, and very satisfying.

We have also tried the beef jerky and papaya salad, both of which were fresh, zesty, and full of flavor. The chopped cheese banh mi is a nice twist, but it leans more toward banh mi style flavors than a classic New York chopped cheese.

Overall, this is a restaurant I keep coming back to because the food is consistently good, approachable, and interesting without trying too hard. I would happily recommend it and look forward to returning again.

The customer service honestly impressed me ⭐️. Our server explained everything clearly and even let me taste the broth first since the Bonjour Saigon soup has a stronger flavour. They checked in on us a few times too, which made the whole experience feel really cared for.

The spring rolls were a great start, crispy, fresh, and tasty . The standout, though, was the satay pork banh mi. The pork was super flavourful and it instantly became my boyfriend’s new favourite .

The pho had a unique twist with the pickled garlic, which gave it a fun kick. The portion isn’t as big as what you’d get at more traditional pho spots, but it’s still enough. The broth wasn’t totally my taste, but it was still good overall. All food had great plating: it shows how they care about what they serve.

Overall, great service and a few dishes that really shine.

It says something when my kids ask if we can come back to try other things on the menu.

We stopped here for a late lunch while driving home from Edmonton to Vancouver.

My husband is sensitive to MSG and when he didn’t complain about the pho soup, I knew this place has put in the effort in the soup base.

The sauce for the pasta was so good that my kids devoured it.

The pork belly slices in the banh mi gave a very nice touch along with the soft but crunchy bun.

For celebrating their 2nd anniversary of the store, we had dessert on the house. I’m not sure of the name but it’s mochi with coconut milk and toasted sesame seeds. There’s a gentle ginger kick at the end.

I would like to come back to this on my next hockey trip but until then, I hope more locals get to know this hidden gem.

I think about Bonjour Saigon all the time. I love this place. Everytime I go it is so good.

I always get the Bo Ne (steak and eggs) and it just has the perfect balance of everything. Texture is great, the flavours are all so good together, and it’s relatively cheap compared to other brunch places! Most of their brunch items are around $14-16 which includes an additional side (I always get pork belly to maximize my meat 😛 and a coffee or tea. Pay $2 extra for a viet iced coffee that is soooo strong in a good way).

We recently tried their banh mi hash bowl which was also so good. They season their potatoes so thoroughly it’s insane. I would also order the banh mi here which is so well made too.

The only thing I’ve tried here that was just okay was the Bo Ham, which only was okay to us because it was more on the sour side, which we did not prefer, but the meat was soft and tender. Even with this comment, I recommend this place again and again and everyone I have recommended this place to loved it.

Back a year ago service was a little iffy — sometimes it was good and sometimes it was bad. I personally have never gotten bad service but some people I know at times had bad service. I’m hoping service has gotten better since then.

#1 Bonjour Saigon fan!

I come for breakfast as I searching something different than Canadian breakfast or Chinese dim sum. It actually great, food delicious, friendly staff. This is my first time here, one of the staffs explained every dishes for me, even make a potion for my son. I’d come back next time in lunch time by 11am as they will have more dishes.

Extremely well priced, and food is also all delicious! We’ve been here so many times, and every time we try something different in the menu. Not a single dish has disappointed, and it’s our go to when we want viet fusion and/or just want a solid, affordable meal that will always be satisfying.

Highly, highly recommend.

I visited on a weekday for lunch and really enjoyed my experience here. The dining space is on the smaller side, so I imagine making a reservation would be a good idea during peak hours.
We ordered the Steak and Eggs, and the portion size was very generous. The plating was beautiful and instantly made the dish even more inviting! I chose salad as my side, and I loved how the fried garlic added such a rich aroma and flavor, it gave a healthy dish a nice extra layer of depth.

What really stood out to me was the pickled radish and pâté on the plate. They are small but just enough. For me, this little touch brought the “Vietnamese” essence of the meal to life.

We also ordered the satay pho, which came in a large portion and filled the air with a strong, delicious peanut aroma. I don’t eat spicy food so I didn’t try it myself, but my friend really enjoyed it.

The staff were friendly and careful, checking for allergies when we ordered and making sure we felt taken care of throughout the meal. If I had one minor note, the beef seasoning was a bit salty for my taste, and I still felt thirsty hours later. That said, overall I left very satisfied, and this is definitely a brunch spot I’d be happy to return to!
