However, the takeout packaging really needs improvement. We ordered two pasta dishes but only finished one. The pesto pasta wasn’t touched (except for the bread on top), so I asked to have it packed for takeout. To our surprise, it was placed in a thin plastic bag.
I asked the staff if they had proper takeout paper boxes, and they said they did, but with an additional fee. It would have been better if this was communicated upfront, especially since we were planning to eat the pasta during our trip. It’s not practical to eat pasta from a plastic bag.
Even after we raised our concern and told them we were willing to pay for the proper takeout box, they still didn’t replace the packaging.
I hope management can improve their takeout packaging and communication with customers. It would definitely enhance the overall dining experience.
i thought i’d get to see the cheese wheel in action but i didn’t
service is fast. ordered 7:15pm, the food were served 7:30pm. all served hot.
approachable and attentive staff.
the place has both indoor and alfresco dining set-up. lots of booths and chairs to choose from. the have cold cuts, different types of cheese, wines.
Staff: Friendly and accommodating — always attentive to our requests.
Ambiance: Classy and high-end feel. The air-conditioning is quite cold but still tolerable. The place is spacious, and parking is conveniently available.
Food:
Mango Ripe Shake: A bit bland; could use a touch of milk for added flavor and creaminess.
Pizza Bianca: Best enjoyed with their spicy honey and pepper sauce — a great balance of flavors.
Mixed Seafood Stew: Comforting and delicious, packed with flavor.
Batangas Kaldereta: The highlight of our meal — rich, flavorful, and served in generous portions.
Overall, Bonito’s offers a pleasant dining experience with great service, a comfortable atmosphere, and standout dishes worth coming back for.
Kaldereta and pastas are our favorites. Though for me mas masarap pasta talaga nila dati. Rosemary chicken ,a classic in their menu, still tastes the same dish that I fell in love more a decade ago as a kid. Staff are accommodating. Mas mabilis na waiting time for food kesa noon. Still pricier than other restaurants around the area but quality, taste and serving size justify it. At-par na sila for me ngayon sa mga restaurants in Metro Manila based on taste and quality.
Downside: This steak. Little chewy. May times pag umoorder kami ng calamari- gummy.
I appreciate the warmth from the staff of this restaurant. My mom and I had a wonderful time together
The potato chips is not worth its price and it was served cold.
The brownie is good for its price.
