In town for one night and wanted something to pick up and eat in my room. Bonita was THE PERFECT PICK! Japchae and esquites were phenomenal! The ladies at the bar were so kind and my meal was ready right when I walked in. That was about 10 minutes after I ordered!

Bonito Kitchen was a fantastic experience from start to finish. The staff was warm and welcoming, which set a great tone for the meal. The setup is casual with a first-come, first-serve seating policy, and you order at the counter, which makes it perfect for groups who want to pay separately without any hassle. The process was smooth, and even though it was busy, everything felt well-organized.
Now, onto the food—absolutely delicious! We ordered a variety of dishes, including the tuna poke bowls, loco moco, tacos, and ramen. Every single dish was fresh, flavorful, and well-prepared. The poke bowl had the perfect balance of textures, with fresh tuna and well-seasoned toppings. The loco moco was hearty and comforting, the only thing was the gravy lacked a depth of flavor but the wagyu beef made up for that. So tender and delicious. The tacos were packed with flavor, and the ramen was warm, satisfying, and had a great depth of flavor.
Everyone in our group loved what they ordered, which is rare when trying a new place. The laid-back atmosphere, friendly staff, and consistently great food made this a spot I’d definitely return to. Whether you’re coming with a group or just grabbing a quick bite, Bonito Kitchen is a solid choice. Highly recommend!

This restaurant is great! We came here last night for restaurant week and got to try some of their dishes. I was pleasantly surprised with all the dishes we had. We stumbled upon Wine Wednesday where you get to sample some wine and that was a pleasant start. We got some popcorn to start and it was a nice twist on pub popcorn with wasabi nuts and fish crackers. The spam and potatas bravas were tasty. The star was the entree! The poke bowl was enormous with very fresh flavors. The chicken tagine was filling as well. The brownie was better than it had any right to be. The ambiance is very relaxed. The whole experience was incredible and it’s well worth the visit. Will be coming back again!

I had an excellent meal at Bonito Kitchen. I got the Japchae with incredibly airy glass noodles and delicious chicken and shiitakes. My husband loved the Carnitos tacos and remarked on how perfectly the jalapenos were julienned. Many thanks to the chef and staff for a great international culinary experience!

The food here is absolutely phenomenal! The Ono Taegu Wings were seriously some of the best I’ve ever had—perfectly cooked, fall-off-the-bone tender, packed with Hawaiian-Korean flavors, and truly unforgettable. And the Hurricane Popcorn? Wow! It was out of this world with its unique touch of nori furikake—such a fun and delicious start to the meal.
