We sat at the bar since all tables were taken. Bar stools are metal and uncomfortable. Many TVs played music videos and a few had trivia. Seems like a fun place. There is a game room downstairs but only open on weekends. They also offer line-dancing. Bartenders were both nice and attentive.
Cocktail menu had to be scanned from a QR code. Menu was also online but many items were taken off the menu so we were given a small paper menu. Not much selection.
I got the chicken tenders and loaded tots. Husband got a rodeo burger (frozen patty)with fries (pay separately for fries). All food was cooked well just wish there were more options.
Many beers on draft, served in red solo cups (RIP Toby). I opted for the Bonfire fruit punch. It was tasty. Many of the cocktails were whiskey based. We will return when looking for a gun place to grab a drink
The chicken wings had the perfect crunch to them. I may be a huge fan of wings and will go back again for theirs.
How do you ever go wrong with a bucket of bacon! Just saying……
Frankie was our server and she was very attentive. She got that we were there to relax and visit, but seemed to know when we needed something. Then there was the pink Solo wine glass. When she came to the table she made a point of giving it to my husband and gave me the red one. I of course took the pink one 🙂
Great experience!
But this was a cute little bar in downtown Manchester and had a lot of personality! Unique seats, interesting decor, living music on the weekends and a large downstairs filled with all sorts of games like corn hole, air hockey, foosball and many other games. It also has its own bar downstairs. During the week from 4-7pm they serve FREE bacon. That’s right folks FREE! They also had all sorts of specials like hand cut fries for $2, $3 wines and even a whiskey shot for a $1!!!
The bacon was ok it was not hot which was disappointing and I’m not sure it was suppose to be hot. The hand cut fries were good and the chicken wings were awesome!! We ordered just plain wings but they were still great!! My friend had the Plain Jane burger for $3 and I had the cheese steak sliders. She said her burger was great and would definitely get it again. The sliders were not what I thought they would be. They were actually like pot roast with cheese on a slider roll. I think maybe beef and cheese might have been a more appropriate name. All in all though the food was good and the prices were amazing!! I would go back even with country music playing!!
They definitely did not offer the “free bacon” when I was there for happy hour. It should be taken off the site because it never came up and wasn’t listed on the menu.
I ventured back here today to give this place another shot. Right off the bat it was “ok” the original waitress was there (only one I believe) and she looked as bored as ever. I sat at the bar, the bartender took my order and asked if I was “one and done” to which I applied, “I’m not sure yet, probably not”. I then heard him say to some patrons (regarding some ethnic guys) “I’m just assuming it’s their culture” (not sure what that was about). I ordered the large beer (32oz) and eventually ordered the fried cheese curds (they were good). The bartender was pretty dismissive, nice but he cared more about the couple he was chatting with. Then the couple was leaving and the man announced “don’t forget to vote for me tomorrow, I asked his name and he said Bob, Bob Screibner (like he was James Bond lol). I paid for my drink and app then left.
I liked almost everything EXCEPT the beer cheese dip that came with 3 pretzels, it had some weird consistency and tasted more like slime than cheese or beer, we were almost grossed out by the texture and taste. the bucket of Bacon is almost exactly what it says, except it’s a cone of bacon. The blue lagoon fishbowl gave me a sugar headache and there didn’t seem to be any booze in it at all. I really disliked having my bud light served to me in the smallest possible red solo cup and our waitress seemed like she did not want to be there. at first she was at our table every 5 minutes but when we were ready to check out it took her over 30 minutes to get to us.
