Fantastic place to get lunch — a real hidden gem. VERY reasonable prices in this day and age. The portions are moderate (consistent with the price), but what you get tastes excellent. If you’re going for lunch, you don’t want to over eat anyway, so go to Bones!

Great atmosphere, tucked into downtown Jefferson City a couple blocks from the State Capitol. The food was top notch. The steak was phenomenal, cooked perfectly medium rare. The seafood salad with raspberry vinaigrette was great. Even the kids chicken strips were good, my 3 year old ate it all without a fuss. And the raspberry cheesecake was exceptional. The bartender/waiter was seriously one of the best I’ve met, and I’ve been all over. The chef/cook was great and even stayed later to make my family lunch which I greatly appreciate. If you haven’t been here check it out. I was driving back from the Ozarks and decided to wander the capitol and get lunch with my family. We had a great time and great food.
