Food was good but not outstanding for the price. If they have a happy hour I may try that in the future but for a celebration dinner I would go another route.
We ordered meatballs to share and I got their crab cake and shrimp for my entree. The meatballs were delicious, saucy, and flavorful. I absolutely loved their crab cakes as it was stuffed with crab meat and not bready at all. It also came with a sweet potato (?) puree and corn, that I thought paired really well with the crab. Would definitely recommend this Italian spot.
While the food itself was good when it arrived, the service was extremely disappointing. One member of our party of seven didn’t receive their meal until the rest of us had already finished eating. We ultimately had to ask for it to be taken off the bill. No manager came over, no apology was offered, and there was no attempt to make things right.
When it came time for dessert, we asked for menus and were then told they were out of both cheesecake and tiramisu — something that would have been nice to know earlier. On top of that, for a party of six or more, gratuity was not included, which felt surprising given how unattended the service was throughout the evening.
Overall, this could have been a good experience because the food was solid, but the lack of care, accountability, and basic hospitality really overshadowed it. Missing an entire meal at the table and receiving no acknowledgment or effort to fix the situation made the night feel frustrating and disappointing, especially for a special occasion like New Year’s Eve.
However, two moments worth mentioning. First, when we arrived, the hostess told us that strollers were not allowed inside. Our 15-month-old baby was sleeping in the stroller, so it was unclear what we were expected to do. This was almost a deal-breaker for us, and we would have had to leave if we hadn’t been allowed to enter with the stroller. Thankfully, the staff ultimately let us bring it in, which resolved the misunderstanding.
Second, regarding the food: it was fine, but in our opinion, it didn’t match the overall level of the restaurant. The quality felt more like a standard café, even though the prices suggest something more elevated. Because of that, we expected the food to be of a higher standard.
Aside from these two points, everything else was great. We truly enjoyed our time here and had a lovely holiday celebration.
We started with the calamari — crisp and golden, paired with a creamy dipping sauce that hit the mark. I had the salmon with fries, and the lobster mac & cheese, which was cheesy and indulgent. The red wine I tried was smooth and paired well with everything. Service was friendly and kind of slow, but during a busy season it was understandable. Overall, it was a wonderful evening that left my husband and I impressed. Still, I’d happilycome back to soak in more of that rustic Italian atmosphere and great food.

My mom and I visited for an early seafood dinner. We ordered the pear salad to start (which was phenomenal) with a Bianca Sangria and White Peach Margarita. For dinner, we had lobster ravioli, the crab cake & shrimp and shared broccolini and lobster mac & cheese. They brought out the lobster mashed potatoes instead but quickly corrected the mistake, and we had an extra comp’d side.
Overall – this visit left a great impression. I hope to return during their 4-6 happy hour and check out what that vibe is like.
Outside of the food, the ambiance of the restaurant was lackluster in my opinion. While eating I noticed what appeared to be a bullet hole in the window above us (picture attached). The surfaces around the window seal were dusty and the a/c unit was held together with packing tape.
Our server, Lotfi, was not rude, but he wasn’t as welcoming as I think he could have been. He was not attentive at all and after we paid, Lotfi walked back to the table and repeatedly looked at the receipt and then at my family member. I’m not sure as to the reasoning behind his action, but it was the icing on the cake as to why I would not come back to the restaurant, nor would I recommend it to anyone.
