The wait staff is phenomenal. Sam took care of us and was outstanding. The atmosphere was not great and they sat us at a table that was part of the walkway for the bathroom. I’m surprised they didn’t design the inside better.
Food was good but not outstanding for the price. If they have a happy hour I may try that in the future but for a celebration dinner I would go another route.

I came here for a work dinner after a conference and was pleasantly surprised! This was one of the few restaurants that didn’t have a ridiculous wait when we were trying to get dinner, so we decided to check it out. Service is really quick and polite.

We ordered meatballs to share and I got their crab cake and shrimp for my entree. The meatballs were delicious, saucy, and flavorful. I absolutely loved their crab cakes as it was stuffed with crab meat and not bready at all. It also came with a sweet potato (?) puree and corn, that I thought paired really well with the crab. Would definitely recommend this Italian spot.

Bond 45 is our very favorite place to visit when we’re in National Harbor. The menu is what first led us there last fall, but the staff and the atmosphere are the top reason we keep going back. We love John, Sierra, Anna, Tiara (forgive us for spelling!) and Josh. They are the absolute best, and Bond 45 feels like home because of them. Filet is fantastic and the cocktails and desserts are second to none!

We had reservations here for about a month for New Year’s Eve and traveled in from out of town, really hoping for a great experience. Unfortunately, it fell short.

While the food itself was good when it arrived, the service was extremely disappointing. One member of our party of seven didn’t receive their meal until the rest of us had already finished eating. We ultimately had to ask for it to be taken off the bill. No manager came over, no apology was offered, and there was no attempt to make things right.

When it came time for dessert, we asked for menus and were then told they were out of both cheesecake and tiramisu — something that would have been nice to know earlier. On top of that, for a party of six or more, gratuity was not included, which felt surprising given how unattended the service was throughout the evening.

Overall, this could have been a good experience because the food was solid, but the lack of care, accountability, and basic hospitality really overshadowed it. Missing an entire meal at the table and receiving no acknowledgment or effort to fix the situation made the night feel frustrating and disappointing, especially for a special occasion like New Year’s Eve.

We celebrated Thanksgiving 2026 at this restaurant and overall had a wonderful experience. The interior design is beautiful, the atmosphere is warm and welcoming, and the service was truly excellent.

However, two moments worth mentioning. First, when we arrived, the hostess told us that strollers were not allowed inside. Our 15-month-old baby was sleeping in the stroller, so it was unclear what we were expected to do. This was almost a deal-breaker for us, and we would have had to leave if we hadn’t been allowed to enter with the stroller. Thankfully, the staff ultimately let us bring it in, which resolved the misunderstanding.

Second, regarding the food: it was fine, but in our opinion, it didn’t match the overall level of the restaurant. The quality felt more like a standard café, even though the prices suggest something more elevated. Because of that, we expected the food to be of a higher standard.

Aside from these two points, everything else was great. We truly enjoyed our time here and had a lovely holiday celebration.

A charming spot with a vintage Italian rustic vibe — warm, cozy, and inviting. From the old-world ambiance to the attentive service, this restaurant captures that “gather with family” feeling. The views of the harbor add a lovely touch, and the wine list complements the experience perfectly.

We started with the calamari — crisp and golden, paired with a creamy dipping sauce that hit the mark. I had the salmon with fries, and the lobster mac & cheese, which was cheesy and indulgent. The red wine I tried was smooth and paired well with everything. Service was friendly and kind of slow, but during a busy season it was understandable. Overall, it was a wonderful evening that left my husband and I impressed. Still, I’d happilycome back to soak in more of that rustic Italian atmosphere and great food.

Went here for happy hour then dinner. We sat at the bar and the service was fantastic. The bartender did not miss a beat. He was friendly and always made sure our drinks where full. The atmosphere was nice and the happy hour specials were awesome. The food was cooked well but felt some dishes lacked flavor.

A top choice for a visit to the harbor! Literally from the ambiance to the service, views of the wharf and live entertainment to the food and cocktails – Kevin was so knowledgeable and helpful when it came to menu recommendations.

My mom and I visited for an early seafood dinner. We ordered the pear salad to start (which was phenomenal) with a Bianca Sangria and White Peach Margarita. For dinner, we had lobster ravioli, the crab cake & shrimp and shared broccolini and lobster mac & cheese. They brought out the lobster mashed potatoes instead but quickly corrected the mistake, and we had an extra comp’d side.

Overall – this visit left a great impression. I hope to return during their 4-6 happy hour and check out what that vibe is like.

My experience at Bond45 was not what I was expecting based on reviews. I came to have my birthday dinner with my family and enjoyed relatively nothing about my time. The food (pictures are attached) was not reflective of their menu descriptions. The mumbo wings, not accurate to the menu description, tasted like sweet chili, the crostini was overpriced, and the calamari was lukewarm at best. Then my entree, what they call a smash burger, was just a regular cheeseburger.

Outside of the food, the ambiance of the restaurant was lackluster in my opinion. While eating I noticed what appeared to be a bullet hole in the window above us (picture attached). The surfaces around the window seal were dusty and the a/c unit was held together with packing tape.

Our server, Lotfi, was not rude, but he wasn’t as welcoming as I think he could have been. He was not attentive at all and after we paid, Lotfi walked back to the table and repeatedly looked at the receipt and then at my family member. I’m not sure as to the reasoning behind his action, but it was the icing on the cake as to why I would not come back to the restaurant, nor would I recommend it to anyone.

We had the arancini, and they were good but room temperature. I had the salmon, and it was good but again room temperature. My husband had the truffle mushroom pasta alfredo, and it was good as well. Service – while friendly – was slow. Full bar available.
