This place is so good!!! They have great meals and it is not expensive at all. My fiancée and I were full after ordering 2 meals, an appetizer, and we only paid $40. The service is outstanding. It was our first time there and the server walked us through the whole menu and even made some recommendations – which were amazing! We will definitely be going again. They also do great lunch specials. For example, you can get 9 small boneless wings and a cup of white rice for $13. Food was 10/10, atmosphere is definitely good (a lot of takeout orders so that was kind of annoying to deal with) but we sat down to eat and the service was great. We enjoyed ourselves and will be going again!

Not going to lie, I saw a TikTok recommending this place so I said why not. I’m so glad I did! Ordered a little bit of everything from the chicken to the Mopo Corndog. The best dish by far was the Bulgogi Fries! The chicken was excellent too. The Corndog was a little odd but still interesting. The biggest let down was the street corn – it was lacking flavor and disappointing overall. The drinks were also great! Definitely recommend stopping by!

This place is PHENOMENAL!!
Everything we tried, which was a lot was perfection!! the chicken is so crispy fried perfectly. The sauces they had to choose from were extremely tasty.!! the fried rice was the best I’ve ever had. Don’t get me started with the corn dog so so good.!! we have been talking about this place since we left and suggesting it to everyone and dying to go back!!
Ricky was our waiter and I must say he was super kind very attentive made great suggestions and deserves all the praise,, also it was pretty cool that he was Korean and able to tell us everything that he loved off of the menu seeing as it is a Korean place.
We will be returning and bringing friends and telling people about this place for a long time!! it’s a must go so add it to your list!!

I’m a regular customer and I’m very disappointed with my dine in service over the holidays. My party came in expecting a short visit for ice cream and a to go order. However, was met with constant disappointment throughout our visit. We waited for 45 minutes just to be told our choices were not available. After we made new choices, something we did not order was brought out. After we expressed our dislike and placed our to go order. 15 minutes later one of the original choices we placed was brought to one of us. And then we had to wait an additional 20+ minutes for our to go order. To the point that we had to ask our server if our to go order was ready. It had been sitting out that entire time, before it was brought to us. Then we watched as our server assisted other patrons for over 15 minutes despite having told us she was going to get our receipt. At which point we walked up to the register to get cashed out. All in all a 30 minute visit turned into over an hr and a half for ice cream.

Solid fast-casual-type Asian fried chicken place with good flavors, crispy fried chicken, and solid execution. The quality is on par with what you’d hope for the price point, which isn’t the case at many places unfortunately and serves as a compliment here. The seasoned fries were crispy and flavorful (ketchup was strangely “juicy” and bright), potstickers were flavorful and crispy, pickled radish offered a nice bright relief, the boneless chicken feels like a classed up Buffalo Wild Wings (crispier, better flavor), and the best bite was the pork buns with a nice balance of flavor and texture. Definitely worth a try as you won’t be disappointed if you come in with reasonable expectations.
Takeaways: try the fried chicken and pork buns

Such a awesome first experience!! I ordered the Koren Corn Dog which was great I loved the garlic one and soy sauce had such a good crunch to it was top tier for Koren Corn Dog places.
Also had the Bibimbap, Rice with scrambled egg, lettuce, carrots and sauteed onions, mushrooms, and spinach.
And adding Bulgogi is recommended for sure!!!
Had a side of seasoned fries which is just French fries topped with a garlic seasoning, parmesan cheese, and parsley flakes.
Which where so good and crispy tasted like a seasoning that would go on some chicken fingers or onion rings!
And to top it all off The Koren Donut was super fluffy and sweet if you have a sweet tooth definitely recommend!!!
Overall a great experience and honestly I only had some of the Bimimbap as leftovers but it wasnt as good.

I’m surprised I never wrote a review for this place. I’ve been getting food from here for years!! My boyfriend and I love this place. There are so many good things on the menu! Their chicken (duh) so good. The spicy is actually spicy! Their seasoned fries are heavenly. Their beef bulgogi is great. (wish it was a bigger portion tho) And their fried rice is so flavorful. They serve Japanese sodas which are really good, highly recommend. It’s so nice having something like this so close to home!

We visited a Bonchon location out of state years ago and have been dying to go back ever since. Though long overdue, we finally visited the West Hartford location last night, and our experience was just as good, if not better, than we remembered. The batter and sauces on the fried chicken are fantastic, and the chicken itself was so fresh. The salmon avocado ball was delicious, and I can be critical of pork buns, so I ordered them to see how they compared to some of my favorite places. Bonchon nailed them! Flavorful sauces were used, the pork belly was great, and most importantly, the bun was soft and not dry. We tried Bull Dak for the first time and loved it, and of course it’s always fun when it comes in a sizzling hot plate. The bibimbap was tasty as well, and I liked the Bulgogi as a protein choice. Our servers were friendly and attentive, and the location was very clean and modern. I highly recommend checking this Bonchon location out!

The fried rice was the best part of the meal it had a really good flavor with a hint of sweetness to it! French fries were nice and crispy as well. Now the meat on the other hand was bland I was excited I thought it would be full of flavor but was disappointed I ordered the plain wings for my daughter and they had zero flavor not even seasoned with salt and I forgot what sauce I ordered for myself but I was not wowed by it, maybe if they would have put a little more sauce I would of liked it more! They are very crispy which I did like.

BAD SERVICE – the staff was kind except i noticed they get treated unfairly by their manager / boss lady. The food is mediocre and I barely got checked up on. Please if you are a person of color, DO NOT COME HERE. The manager seems very disrespectful and only cares about profit. Not once were we checked on and it seemed as though we were being avoided. If you’re looking to try korean fried chicken I would recommend going somewhere better with management.
