I ordered Buldak here at the Chantilly, Va. location today for the first time I usually go to the Manassas or Gainesville location. The dish doesn’t even look the same and the taste isn’t close! I am sooo disappointed and will never return to this location again. I don’t know how a franchise can have one of their big menu dishes be so different from one location to another. And this location tried covering the lack of chicken with big broccoli and carrots with Cheese to hind the lack of Chicken. The other location is totally different and even the sauce isn’t the same. I wasn’t my money.

The bulgogi fried food was truly a groundbreaking dish. The moment I ate it, it made me want to drink beer. It was the perfect food to go with beer. The bulgogi bibimbap was served in a stone pot and the seasoning was well-balanced. I ordered two types of chicken: Korean barbecue flavor and garlic soy sauce flavor.

Korean fried chicken is no stranger to the food scene in the American diet. This chain is doing us all a great favor by serving a superb alternative to Popeyes or simple southern fried chicken joints. The biggest issue I’d have is the bibimbap that doesn’t come with traditional Korean pickled vegetable sides – what gives! Hey Bonchon, don’t settle and don’t cave using Americanized ingredients on your Korean iconic dish!

Is this how the obscenely-powerful or uber-famous people dine and how it feels? It’s not a dining option actually offered by Bonchon as it’s a side-effect of doing tremendous takeout business. I think we saw 10-20 takeout orders during my entire time dining in.
Ok back to the chicken. It’s delicious, I need not say anything more and remember not to compromise on the bibimbap or any other iconic dish.

I usually love this restaurant and often visit the location near my home in Delaware, which has always been excellent. Unfortunately, my experience at the Virginia location was disappointing. The food tasted old, and the cucumbers that are normally included in the dish were missing. In addition, the bag wasn’t properly sealed, which raised concerns about tampering. Sadly, I won’t be ordering from this location again.

Service was a bit slow but friendly. Skin of chicken wings were crunchy and very tasty but inside is a bit bland but still juicy. Fried bulgogi rice was good! The pork bun was bit hard to chew.

Delicious food, great atmosphere. I had the bulldak and it was just the right amount of spicy without being overbearing. Korean donut was very good as someone who doesn’t eat donuts that they have in USA. Couple of starters too. The octopus one was surprisingly good. The shrimp one was very soft, just melted in your mouth. The only thing that was weird was the order the food was brought out. They brought the dessert first, then the main courses, and then the starters. Very bad organization in the back. Also, they give you the donut free if you write a review but they don’t require you rate 5 stars so I guess that’s ok. Other than that everything was great

We’ve ordered from this Bonchon for a long time and it’s gone way downhill.
This last order was honestly gross.
The chicken was chewy and weird, like low-quality meat, and there was barely any sauce on it. A couple pieces were so bad we didn’t even eat them. It really feels like they changed the type of chicken they use.
The fries were soggy and overcooked and just tasted like old oil, not fresh at all.
For the price, it’s just not worth it anymore. Bonchon used to feel like a treat, but the last two orders have both been bad. We won’t be ordering from this location again.

Tried the new burger. It tasted good but was on the smaller end, wish it was bigger sized. There are chicken sandwich places around that are cheaper and have bigger patties. Their fries and donuts were great. Service was excellent.
