A long time since I tried Bonchon and I was pleasantly surprised by how good it was. Chicken is crispy with excellent tasting coating even without sauce. Fried zucchini and onion rings also crispy and top notch. Food was hot, fresh and well packed for takeout. This makes it onto my regular takeout list.

Usually, I have to ask for extra crispy wings as most establishments. Not here. These wings are not only delicious, they are very crunchy and not over seasoned. Service was great also! I will be back!

Look I love the food and I come here often, but dayum. I ordered online. Well over an hour before I wanted to pick it up. I came 10 mins before my pickup time, it’s not ready no big deal, my time passes. 17 mins passed my pick up.
What the hell is going. It’s not busy. No one is sitting in the dining area. There’s a couple mobile orders. Now I’m getting home 30 mins passed my kids bedtime. It’s annoying as hell.

My son’s fav restaraunt but it’s a gamble on food quality and service. Half the time food is great and half the time is awful. There is one woman who is always amazing. Everyone is else always rude. And they are always out of pickled radish, which is a restaurant staple. Don’t offer it if you don’t carry it lol. I don’t normally care enough to say anything. Tonight the girl was rude and in a hurry to leave. My biggest complaint is that the restaurant needs to update the hours online to reflect the actual store hours. Instead of having the staff being rude when customers show up an hour before posted closing time (as someone who works in the industry I would never show up 5min before closing and expect service) and then telling I need to hurry up. At least 3 other people tried to order after I showed and were turned away. Bad look/vibe all around. I’d really hate to see this place go under (like so many others). Also she told me to read the sign on the front door. Possibly it was on the front door but there are so many signs I didn’t see it. The only one I did catch was the one that said “WE ARE OPEN!” lmao

So I normally really like few specific things from Bonchon. However I’m losing my love for it and here’s why. A few months ago I placed a large order and they screwed some of it up and had to credit me over $40. Fast forward to the other day when I really wanted those wings. I had forgotten all about the account credit so when my hubby goes to pickup my food, they tell him there’s a credit so it didn’t cost anything. Now, you would think if they screwed up the order before leaving me a $40+ credit that they would be sure to get this order right. It was terrible. I couldn’t even eat the wings, had to throw them away. They were dried out and terribly overcooked. I was so mad that I didn’t bother to call them that night as I was afraid I might have cursed somebody out. Wish I had gone back to complain but I’m about a week late writing this review. What a waste of my damn credit! Glad I took pictures. Sooo disappointed!!!

This Bonchon is one of the best ones if not the best. They have a big bar, good seating and really friendly staff that always makes us laugh. A great place and well maintained. And the food is FIRE. Crispiest chicken ever, never chewy always the best bite. The sauces are so good and the magic in the back makes this place a frequent stop. Love this place.

The fries were okay. The chicken tenders are all white meat and very cripsy. The problem is there is no seasoning, no garlic or salt. So they are bland. I attempted remedy the situation by asking for a side of the wet sauces. I was told no, that they only toss wings in the sauce. Won’t be back.

I have to say, the attention to detail at this place is outstanding. Super clean, I saw them clean every single crevice at the end of the night. Food was delicious, juicy wings and the service was great. I had the chance to speak to the owner to say how great of a job he was doing with this place. A+++
