I recently visited Bonchon at Market Village in Leesburg and had a very solid experience overall. The place was clean, modern, and had a relaxed vibe that made it easy to enjoy the meal.

The standout for me was the bulgogi fried rice. The flavor was rich and well-balanced slightly sweet from the marinated beef with that classic savory soy-garlic depth. The rice was cooked just right, not mushy, with nice bits of caramelization that added texture. Every bite had good distribution of beef and vegetables, which made it satisfying from start to finish.

The sotteok (rice cake and sausage skewers) were also excellent. They had a great chewy bite from the rice cakes paired with the juicy sausage, and the sauce brought everything together with a sweet-spicy glaze that wasn’t overpowering. Definitely a fun and flavorful appetizer.

Service was great, staff were friendly, attentive, and the food came out quickly.

Why not 5 stars? Portion size for the price could be slightly better, but the quality and flavor were on point.

I’d definitely come back, especially for that bulgogi fried rice, and to try the fried chicken. I hear it’s worth the return viste.

We were on the way to the airport and stopped for a quick bite. Some of our orders came out quickly and we waited for a while for the rest of the order. We checked with the cashier to find that she didn’t put our order in. She didn’t apologize or showed any feelings. She was just there.

The food was good. The chicken was crispy as expected. The sauce was good. The beer was good. The fries was good and I like the meat that mixed in the fries.

The price is a little pricey for a tray of sample ($33) and a few chicken wings.

Service was attentive and very friendly. The host and the manager came by to see how everything was going. The food was all hot and flavorful. I ordered the soy chicken tacos and they were a nice size. Not tiny like I thought they’d be. If you don’t really like soy sauce, don’t get them. The ambiance was cool. It’s not a big place, majority of the orders were to go. My tacos came out about 15 min after my family’s food which wasn’t ideal but we had appetizers so I wasn’t there watching them eat. Parking can be scarce but we lucked up on a park right out front.

My family and I come here every-so-once-in-a-while. The food here absolutely kills it every time! We love love the chicken here which is so crispy and flavorful! After that we usually get something we haven’t tried before. The server here, a wonderful man. Is so personable and knowledgeable. This is just a 10/10 place to eat.

Wow. Could not tell you how the food was but I can tell you not to order DoorDash through this place. I ordered food and my DoorDasher arrived only to be told by the restaurant that my food had already been picked up by somebody else. The driver called me and then put me on the phone with someone at the restaurant.

What happened next was absolutely wild. The person on the phone had the audacity to say that “I was lying and that I had picked up the food already”. That I was “sitting in the lobby waiting” and he “RECOGNIZED MY VOICE” and he said “you are lying”…”You need to contact DoorDash”. Basically just made it not his problem. I can tell you that if you’re going to order online here. Don’t. Cause who knows if you’re getting your food or not.

Incredible service. Absolute masterclass…”I recognize your voice…” Astonishing.

We ordered take out – drums, wings, coleslaw, kimchi fries and the Korean donuts.
The drums were juicy and crispy but a little salty. Wings were good! Kimchi fries were the bomb and the donuts were perfectly fluffy and delicious!!

I’ll start be saying that I absolutely love Bonchon. It’s definitely one of my favorite restaurants. I’ve eaten at this location a small handful of times and this most recent will be my last. Unfortunately some of the chicken was completely raw inside as you can see in the pics. I would recommend eating at Bonchon, but I’d also recommend a different location.

I recently visited Bonchon Korean Chicken in Leesburg, Virginia, and had a delightful experience. The wait time was reasonable, although the prices were on the higher side. The food was delicious, and the customer service was good. The restaurant’s decor and atmosphere added to the overall enjoyment. If you’re looking for an upscale alternative to KFC or Popeyes, I highly recommend checking out Bonchon!
