The wings are huge, crispy, flavorful 10/10
The pickled radish however is almost always questionable at this location… it’s sometimes grey and does not taste fresh, sometimes tastes spoiled. The texture of the radish is sometimes squishy/mushy too.
50$ for 32 wings, I would hope the sides are at least fresher.

Wings, 10/10
Fries, 10/10
Radish, 2/10 the Rockville location is a lot fresher but smaller wings

I normally love Bonchon, but this last experience was a disappointment. The chicken was dry and tough. A bit undersauced as well. The strips used to be like tenders and now they are closer to cuts of chicken breasts that have been flattened, which probably lead to the texture issues.

With all the other midcounty locations closed, this is the closest location for me and I won’t be in a hurry to return. Maybe Rockville is better.

The bulgogi fries are $13 and pictured on the menu as a plate of fries covered in toppings. I received a basket of fries with a pinch of bulgogi on top. Not even layered throughout.

$4 side if kimchi was dry, dry, dry, with no flavor.

$15 Boneless Korean fried soy garlic chicken was overcooked Tyson-style wings that were dry and cooked to death.

$16 Bulgogi fried rice was okay.

It was so hot in there. It was very uncomfortable. It was clean, and our server was personable.

I would not come back nor recommend this place.

I went with my family of 4 on a friday night. The place is spacious, clean and cozy. They have high chairs for little ones. Our food took about 8 minutes to be served, the flavor was there! We really enjoyed it. The coleslaw was excellent and the boneless wings are extremely were well seasoned. The spice was definitely there, the spicy wing took my bu surprise it was very good and spicy. Our server was nice and friendly.

Delicious fried chicken, with fun sides, starters, and other entree options. Also a big selection of drinks.

The spicy chicken is SPICY! Soy garlic is tasty but not spicy. I recommend the coleslaw as the main side — radishes were ok, tasted kind of like sweet pickles but would mostly just be for texture.

Bulgogi tacos were a fun starter. Interesting mix of flavors and textures, and they look cool too.

We came for a later dinner on Friday (8:30ish), and we were surprised how slow it was. Hopefully a fluke, would love to see this place get popular! Service was prompt and friendly.

We were looking for an authentic Korean restaurant but was guided into this rather modern sport bar-like restaurant. Located in the middle of the Kentlands Market Square, it is in a very nice location. The waiters were very friendly. However, there was barely any authentic Korean food. Japchae was probably the closest dish. Nevertheless, the boneless chicken wings were great with beer. However, the udon noodel soup was so plain that it was disappointing. Overall, it is probably a good hanging out place for youngsters to drink beer and watch multiple TV screens. It’s certainly not a place for someone who wants to enjoy Korean cuisines.

I did a Uber Eats order and OMG, the wings were huge !!! Weirdly fried . It was so hard i couldn’t even eat it . The skin was so hard it broke apart in 1 piece . Wasted a whole $56 order smh . I normally order from the 1 in Rockville and I’m not sure why Uber Eats switched my order to Gaithersburg but RV is so much better !!! Never had a problem with ordering from them at all. And the wings look normal ! Straight up disgusting !

Lovely place to have lunch with friends. I’ve been to several Bonchons but this one in particular might be my favorite because of the location and service. Our servers were very attentive and helpful. Everything we had (Tteokbokki, seasoned fries, and chicken) was piping hot, fresh, crispy, and delicious. It’s far from where I live but would come here again.

This location needs to do a much better job for the amount it costs to purchase items from this restaurant. The packaging was not sufficient, soggy and inappropriate material to keep food at good edible temperature. The chicken was over-cooked. Look at the grease marks on the bags from the chicken and donuts. You would think that they would have sent some napkins. The fries were cold, soggy and tasteless. I don’t think I will EVER be eating at this location again, until they get their act together.

Solid Sunday afternoon snack food for a group. Family shared fried rice with kimchi and bacon, a plate of 30 salt and pepper wings + spicy wings, and fried octopus balls. Efficient service and we left well-fed and happy.
