Yummy Koren fried chicken! I love the boneless with Yangnyeom sauce. I prefer a side of rice with my meal, but the fries are tasty too! Light breaded and packed with potatoes. They offer seasoned fries as well. Check them out during the Lunch Special Hours, Mon – Fri, 11am-3pm for a deal! For the alcoholic beverages, try their Yogurt Soju! Sit down or take out is available at this location, and the staff takes the time to walk you to your table. Think, fast food environment with classic dining service. The service was perfect during our visit, we were regularly checked on and treated with care. We spent $55 for two people, which is a tad costly however the food is worth it to me.

Our Delicious Lunch Adventure at Bonchon
We were in Elk Grove visiting family for lunch and decided to try something new. Bonchon came up as a good option.
When we got there, the place was hopping, and there was a line for takeout! I viewed that as a good omen!
Bonchon is located in the Laguna Gateway Center and has a big sign that can’t be missed. Inside is a counter with more than half a dozen chairs and plenty of tables from which the customers can choose. The dining area’s look and feel are trendy and seem to attract younger clients. The menu offers starters, main dishes, sides, soup, salads, and drinks. However, their fried chicken seems to have a special place and is very popular with clients.
We ordered a few smaller plates to taste as many items as possible! The Shrimp Shumai was good. Pork Potstickers were even better, and their French Fries were just right, but the Korean Tacos were excellent!
The young lady serving our table was very personable and good at her job. We were happy with the service and enjoyed our meals.
If you wonder what we thought of the Korean Fried Chicken, I won’t keep you waiting! It was delicious. We tried two different variations with different sauces and enjoyed it all!
As for drinks, we were not in the mood, so we skipped the drinks, but we will certainly try a couple next time we visit.

I went here with my parents today. I’m a huge fan of spicy fried chicken (and drumsticks) and going here for lunch was very filling! Our waiter was very sweet and considerate when taking our orders and passing by our table. Great food and great service! Will definitely come back soon 🙂

Stopped by 2 days prior to New Years and was not disappointed. Ofc had to get a bottle of Soju to go with the chicken as well.
Edit: Did come here with one of my coworker for his birthday and definitely wasn’t disappointed. Food was great like usual.

Decided we wanted delicious chicken wings & Bonchon never disappoints. This was our 1st time at this location. They were reasonably busy 1/2 full with dine in & countless takeout orders. We didn’t have to wait to be seated & service was A+. We ordered wings, fries, potstickers & udon with fried egg. All were delicious. Definitely will go back.

Very tasty. Family had Japchae, Bimbimbap, Chicken katsu and Soy Sesame/Korean BBQ strips. We all enjoyed. Katsu was a little dry, but saved by the sauce. I like to grab a bite when in Sacramento.

The fried chicken is soo good and always crispy. Great, prompt service and affordable pricing. This was my first time trying the bulgogi fries and they did not disappoint! One of my favorite restaurants in Elk Grove.

Good food. Some variety in the menu items. “Korean donuts” are just churros lol The Buldak wasn’t super spicy (medium level after waitress recommendation) and the mozzarella in it was thick. The tacos were bomb though!

Went on a Saturday night about 8:30 and it wasn’t too busy. Our waitress was Jordan who provided EXCELLENT customer service. Had the Onion rings, pork buns, and chicken wings and chicken sliders. ALL of the dishes were great. I must say the wings are incredible the way they are prepared. The pork buns were delicious. The pork is crispy and the buns are really soft and fresh. The atmosphere is really chill and all of the staff were really cool. Bonchon will easily become a regular stop for my family.
