The Udon noodles were awful. I spit them out immediately. And my daughter said… how can you mess up corn. We ate the tacos they were fair. I definitely won’t eat this again.

Now, I make a lot of chicken at home so when I found a Korean fried chicken place I was excited.
There is no seasoning in the fried chicken. The chicken is cooked all the way and crispy but if sauces are the only thing that makes it good then it isn’t good.

They could have added some Cajun spice to the flour or something! I DONT recommend the sample platter because the chicken is good enough for you to pay 37 dollars.

Japchae is very good though.

Fast service, hot food definitely worth a try!
Lucked up on $1 wing Tuesday. Got 10 wing half classic crunch crispy no sauce , half yangnyeom. I enjoyed the sauces wings more than the classic crunch. Bibimbap was good with the sauce hubby wished it was a little more meat in it. The japchae was flavorful wish there was an option to substitute the meat. Overall food was served fast and full of flavor. Perfect ending for Dessert were the Korean donuts- fluffy yet airy served warm with a dipping sauce

Food was so good ! 10/10 highly recommended. I loved their soy garlic grilled chicken house fried rice. And the soy garlic wings were good too. I loved their pickled radishes and their kimchi as well. Everything was really good and definitely plan on coming back again for the seasoned fries, fried rice and kimchi. I’ll try the spicy wings next time. They have good lemonade too. The service was fast and food was good and fresh

Best Wings in the World!

Bonchon Chicken in Cordova, TN truly has the best wings in the world—no exaggeration. Perfectly crispy on the outside, juicy on the inside, and coated in the most flavorful sauces you’ll ever taste. Every bite is fresh, crunchy, and absolutely addictive.

The soy garlic and spicy wings are on another level, and the consistency is unmatched. Great service, clean location, and food that keeps you coming back again and again.

If you love wings and haven’t tried Bonchon in Cordova yet, you are seriously missing out. Hands down the #1 wing spot anywhere!

What a great hidden gem in Memphis area!
We found it by accident and we were glad we did!
We had their kimchi fried rice which is super tasty and bibimbap bulgiogi which is great in portion and tasty as well.

We also ordered their fresh kimchi and oh my…it was so good!!!

Later, we’ve ordered their Korean street corn ands it was so good!

Place is known for their Korean fried chicken but we didn’t have time nor stomach capacity to order some yesterday! But that’s a reason for us to go back next time!

Place was clean and nice and the vibes or ambiance was nice.

Service person can use some more smiles when talking to customers but he was friendly enough for us not to make a big deal of it

Overall great!

THIS ISN’T MY FINAL REVIEW OF THE PLACE…
Went here on their opening week so I’m sure they’re still trying to get the hang of things. I have a few things to note, and hopefully when I try this place again, they’ll have made some improvements.

I went here a little past 9pm. The place was pretty busy with at least 10 customers ahead of me in line and there was only one cashier (another one showed up after I had already been waiting for some time). I didn’t mind waiting as I knew they had just opened up shop.

My food I ordered (10 pieces wings) ended up including a drumstick. Not that it upset me, but obviously you should get what you order. I ordered take out as the place was packed. I drove home no longer than 5 minutes and the food was barely warm, so I’m not sure if I got freshly cooked wings (it took about 12 minutes to get all my food). The side of rice I ordered was undercooked (still slightly raw).

(at least 3 of the tables were left uncleared for quite some time)…again, they’re probably still trying to get the hang of ruining the store.

Hoping to have a better experience next time! I’ve got faith in you Bonchon!

Went to Bonchon one late weeknight with my husband, hoping for a chill Korean dinner. The place was nearly empty. We ordered through their tablet system: Korean BBQ wings, a bulgogi rice bowl for him, japchae noodles for me, both topped with fried eggs.

We waited… and waited. For a place with no crowd, the kitchen sure took its sweet time. Everything’s self-service, so once the food finally arrived, we were kinda underwhelmed from the first bite.

The wings? Dry and tough — like they’d been sitting around, reheated, or double-fried to death. The coating wasn’t crispy, just hard. Sauce was okay-ish, nothing memorable. The bulgogi was the better dish between the two, but the japchae was a greasy letdown. Way too oily, lacking that savory-sweet depth you expect from good Korean food. The fried eggs were also greasy with some stinky smell ( like an old oil).

And let’s talk about that “radish kimchi” — just plain radish in vinegar. No spice, no funk, no soul. It felt like a sad impersonation of Korean flavors. Honestly, the whole meal tasted like a fast-food version of Korean cuisine — overpriced, greasy, and uninspired.

Sadly, it’s a no from me. Not planning to go back.

The food at Bonchon came out fast, I think it was maybe 3 minutes after ordering and the place was packed for lunch. The wings and drums meal with two sauces was delicious. Spicy sauce could be spicier but, it’s a hit the way it is too. Soy Garlic sauce was really nice with the pickled radishes. The crunch of the chicken is top tier, it’s satisfying and something separating them from other chicken restaurants in the area. Fries were crunchy as well and great. Definitely returning and trying more of the menu than fried chicken.

everything here was delicious!! i ordered the spicy and soy garlic chicken. the spicy was not too spicy which was perfect, and the soy garlic was a great balance!! we got a side of pickled radish which balanced the flavors of the chicken. the small order of fries were a perfect addition to this order of fried chicken, the fries were perfectly crisp and seasoned to perfection!! it is so exciting that a korean fried chicken place has opened up here. so excited to come back!!
