Friendly service, super clean restaurant. Will be back!!
Back again for the third time! Never disappointed! The food is always hot, fresh, and delicious …. Plus, the service is always great! If you’re ever on Franklin St., in Chapel Hill, go check them out!
(First post)
This was our first time dining there, as a recommendation from someone. I must say.. we were not disappointed! Bon Chon has the BEST chicken wings on Franklin St., in Chapel Hill (or any other chicken place that I’ve tried). Korean Fried Chicken is perfectly crispy and flavorful and they have a great selection of sauces; we tried the soy garlic and Korean BBQ on the chicken, and the Yangnyeom sauce on the Potstickers…. soooo delicious Additionally, we had the Bulgogi House Fried Rice. All of the dishes we tried were finger-lickingly (if that’s a word lol) delicious!!! What a treat! We’re definitely going back! Our server, Antonio, was the best!
*Update. Came back to try the corn dogs and they were great! Super filling, I could barely finish my second one. The cheese inside is savory, the outside is crispy. More staff this time so that was good. I’ll definitely continue visiting.
I do not really like most of the food there apart from a couple of things. The udon bulgogi they have right now is AMAZING. Their spicy mayo is always so good, I love dipping my fries in it, though that is probably just my preference. Their pork buns are pretty good too.
But the chicken?! OMG! I got the 10pc strips in Korean BBQ flavor. First of all I didnt think the strips would be as big as they were. Second it thought I was only gonna eat like 4 of them…I ate all 10. They were SOOOO DAMN GOOD. Like that chicken had no reason to be that tasty. Also the meal came with coleslaw and im not a fan of coleslaw almost at all, but theirs is actually super good; I never thought I say that about COLESLAW!
Stop reading and go and order. Just go!
