The place is pretty good. We got the rice cakes and sausage on a stick appetizer, loved that.
My friend and I ordered Bibimbap. She got the beef one which was pretty good, and I got the spicy chicken. Well, it was quite spicy but delicious too.
Although soju adds to the Korean food vibe, the markup on soju drinks is high though.

However good you think* the food is gonna be, it’s Better. Everything we ordered was extraordinary, and for me that’s oh wow I like Korean, but for my picky as hell sister, for HER to be as blown away as she was, that’s court level evidence it’s amazing. Service was great, food was great, you should absolutely drop by and get the Kimchi, Pork Belly Bao and Fried Wings with Soy Garlic sauce!!!!

Ordered To Go at the counter. Waited in plain view of the staff. They finished my order, placed it behind the counter, and never called my name. Looked right at me… nothing. I didn’t know the bag was mine obviously, because they were busy and it could have been anyone’s order. After several people, who ordered after me, had left with their orders, I tried to get their attention and finally a staff asked what I was waiting for. I finally got my order, which had been sitting there behind the counter forever.
Of course food was cold by the time I got it. Thanks for the cold fries. And cold soggy onion rings. The barely warm Korean Tacos did not have much flavor; they also didn’t come with the correct chicken that I ordered. Calling them “Korean” is a real stretch. I’m Korean. Street Corn was good, although somewhat watery. Fries and onion rings were probably good when they were hot, the flavor was there.
Not worth it for the cold food and poor service.

The food is fantastic. Sides, mains, everything was well cooked and seasoned.
Sadly, this restaurant needs a DEEP clean and left me concerned about the state of the back of house. The walls are grimy, the switch plates in the bathroom were stained with fingerprints, and my seat faced the attached view of fly encrusted cobwebs. Yikes. If they got the cleaning in order this would easily be a 5 star review

The signature sauce is flavorful . The chicken needs to be fried a bit longer because the crust is plentiful .Chicken fried rice was on point .Location not ideal in winter . When patrons open the door it’s freezing .They won’t let you sit in the back away from the door even if nobody is sitting at the much larger table .

Recently dined at Bonchon Central Park around 8:45 PM and had a mixed experience. We ordered the chicken wings and bibimbap. The wings were a highlight—crispy and packed with flavor, just as we hoped. However, the bibimbap was lukewarm, which was disappointing and not what we expected.
On the plus side, the service was attentive and friendly, adding a nice touch to the evening. Overall, while the wings were excellent, the temperature of the bibimbap left something to be desired. I’d consider returning for the wings, but I hope for a more consistent experience next time.

Weekday lunch, came a little after opening so, no problem with table spot.
Had to have the chicken (with more to-go) and it’s still as good
Also had the Takoyaki, another winner!
Service was excellent!

Fried Chicken (to-go – Half and Half combo/ soy & spicy) and an extra order of pickled radish

If you haven’t tried Korean fried chicken, I suggest you give it a try.
Our server, Mel was very nice, excellent, if I may say so.
Outside dining also available but in the height of summer with temps in the mid to high 90s, even the temp/air-conditioning inside was sadly, lacking. This was the only damper to our dining experience.
Overall, will definitely be back for more.
