TERRIBLE SERVICE , the waitresses years ago were kind patient and very passionate about there job , we spend 1 hr 15 min eating and they came to our table only once to take our order and bring us our food , another thing the Quality of food has gone down tremendously

STAY AWAY FROM THIS SPOT! Went there last night and received the worst service. They ignored me till I asked if someone can help me and charged me almost 60 dollars for rice beans and chicken. When I get home and open up the trays there were 5 tiny pieces of chicken floating in a bunch of sauce. Definitely not 60 dollars worth of food. Every review that says to stay away is correct. There are way better places in Amboy with way better food that provide the service you deserve and won’t overcharge you. This place needs to get it together.

I come in every Friday to buy large extra steak, rice and large sweat plantain’s for 50$, I came in today 2/8 just to get small steak extra and small plantains no rice and they charged me 35$. I don’t know how they came with that price, but they don’t speak English and if owner is not in they come up with their own price. They make good food but if owner is not present they charge much more

Food well prepared, always fresh and Great spot if you’re hungry for Spanish food. I will not go with a 5 since they are borderline salty on their food. But the taste is really amazing on all dishes. You can’t go wrong. Service could be frustrating at times, as they think you want to hang out there for a while. I’m okay with in and out. The dining area can use a little bit of sprucing up. They get a lot of traffic in there, thought to keep up with the furniture. The lighting is terrible. Need to update to LED. If you are hungry, Go

I’ve had my final hoorah with this place. The food is amazing but because of the staff I will NEVER spend another dollar there. Each and every time I visit this place whether it’s to go or dine in the service is AWFUL. The staff is terrible. They have stink attitudes, don’t acknowledge you when you enter, they will skip you for people they know, act as if they are doing you a favor by taking your order. I took a friend there to have lunch and I walked in prior to 2 ppl after me they all looked at me and continued their conversations and no one asked could they help me. I had to ask if I should seat myself or order from the counter since no one seemed to be interested in my presence. I’m completely disgusted the waitress came over threw menus on the table and walked away. She didn’t offer water, if we were ready to order, shoot not even a hello. NO THANKS BONAO y’all can have this one. Too bad there isn’t a 0 stars

It’s definitely not the best empanadas Ive gotten, the smoothies are full of sugar and milk . I personally won’t be back. I can’t believe they have high ratings. It’s a disgrace to the Dominican restaurants that are passionate about the quality they put out.

I had excellent breakfast of scrambled eggs, sausage and fried cheese, with mashed potatoes. Sausage spicy and very good. Fried cheese super. Fresh squeezed orange juice is a must. Service is attractive. Friendly local place with much chatter among the customers. Good place.
