Was a great little place. They young man that helped us was great. The food was amazing. The banana penutbutter shake tasted like a butterfingers candy bar and my husband son loved their beer with food. Loved the American flag out frount.

First time trying Bonanza Drive Up after it being recommended for years. I am so glad we stopped in to try it! We got the family deal for 5 burgers at about $23 and 2 shakes. Burgers were yummy for the price! I assume their more premium burgers have more oomph- but they were all enjoyed and yummy. Shakes are the best in town!
Staff was absolutely delightful. The lady working the front counter was so kind and brought our food out to us as we sat outside. She was attentive, kind, and knowledgeable. I got the sense that they take care of their employees given how awesome everyone was.
All in all, great experience. Will definitely recommend to friends and family!

I was in town for an insurance inspection and decided to check out a local burger stand to formally cross Cottage Grove off of the Great Oregon Burger Bucket List. Bonanza Drive-Up looked great, so I headed downtown to check it out.
Cool vibe, really well set up for drive through and summer walk up. Crinkle cut fries were delicious, little salty but goes perfectly with the homemade fry sauce.
Dr. Pepper was flat and watered down, they need to adjust the syrup and carbonation.
Had the bullseye burger (fresh meat, they have different menus for fresh or frozen) added bacon and pepperjack. Decent bacon. Sweet pickles. Okay veggies. Meat was cooked well, but you can tell they scrub the grill clean- couldn’t taste any grill seasoning.
Overall very solid. Maybe not worth going on a long drive for, but more than worth stopping by, and probably the perfect place for gangs of wayward teens or a family to swing by for a great snack during their summer fun.

I’m from California and went on a road trip to Oregon. Made a stop here because it was the closest burger place.
It’s a small place. Went in to place an order to go and had to wait about 30 minutes for food. The waiting part is not my problem.
My problem was that they Ignored my order. People who came in after me who dine in and people who came 10 min after me went to the drive thru all got their orders before I did. It was not even busy. 3 dine in tables only.
I went to check 20 min into my order and said it’s almost ready give them 3-4 minutes. That lasted another 10 minutes or so. Went back to check and they said they were bagging it. They knew they messed up because I heard them talking and the front girl said, “well everything has a time on it”.
They IGNORED my order and gave it all to the Drive thru and Dine in customers because mine was To Go.
The burger was ok. I like the buns they used. Their customer service needs Major improvement. I was not impressed with their choice of apple juice for my daughter.

Man… we used to enjoy getting food from this place here and there but the last two experiences we’ve had have been terrible. Customer service was unfriendly, almost annoyed at my husband for ordering on the phone. I’ve worked customer service as a waitress for 14 years… if someone orders takeout 40 minutes prior to close, sure, maybe you wish they didn’t BUT you don’t treat them as though they’re a bother. And 40 minutes prior to close IS reasonable especially if it is just takeout.
The food: Was unfortunately not even worth half of what we paid. Attached is a photo of an $8 burger (the American burger) for my son. I thought they forgot the patty at first! We will no longer be going back and will instead make the drive to Creswell’s Toxic. We all ended up throwing away half of our meal which totaled at $60. Really bummed.

I would give this place a billion stars! Service was fabulous. Their food!!! Get OUT OF TOWN! It is so good!!! I consider myself a connoisseur of sorts when it comes to burgers. We travel a lot and we love to patronize small, family owned businesses. We will go out of our way to do so. This absolute GEM is just a few short minutes off I-5 and well worth it. Their burgers are simple and delicious. Very flavorful and juicy. Made as soon as you order. Their ice cream is GIANT and delicious. My husband had a chunky monkey cyclone (like a Blizzard) and I had a blackberry sundae. They layer the sundae sauce with the ice cream so you have these layers of goodness in every bite. Please go visit these guys. They have a really great menu! Remember to be kind! ❤️

Came here for a quick burger. Staff was friendly. Burger was delicious – I had the original and husband had the double cheeseburger. Onion rings were good as well. Nice to find a classic no-frills burger joint still in business. We will be back.
