Great authentic Louisiana grill, very cute interior, good service and yummy food. For the price of the Catfish I think it should have included the red beans, the plain white rice really took from it. The bang bang alligator po boy was by far the best. The sweet potato mash was also really good. They have a great dessert menu as well, the creme brulee cheesecake is what we chose 10/10 there. Our server was very friendly and attentive with drink refills.

Wow! Some of the best red beans and rice I’ve had anywhere, including New Orleans. And my husband loved the crawfish etoufee pot pie. Had to get carry-out containers for both in order to save room for the delicious bananas Foster bread pudding. Our server, Amanda, was helpful, friendly and excellent overall.

Great atmosphere and the food was great. In town for business and I will be back. Slightly more than I usually spend for dinner, and honestly gladly paid up a little more for this great food. My stuffed chops melted in my mouth and THE BEST FLAVOR. Will repeat.

If you are in the LaFayette area of Louisiana, I recommend this restaurant. We stopped in for lunch, after looking for a local place serving up cajan seafood. When we walked thru the door we were greeted with a smaile, and were seated right away. Heidi was our server, and was very friendly from the time she walked up. I asked her what a favorite was and she said hands down crawfish enchilades with the jalapeno cheese grits. It was an item I was looking at and decided to go with. Hands down, it was great! My hubby got the crawfish etouffe, with rice. It too was great. Had to bypass dessert, but wouldve gotten the bread pudding if I could. If given the chance I would go back. The staff was great. The manager even stopped by to see how everything was.

I stopped in with a friend of mine while visiting Lafayette to see the relics of St. Therese, and had the red beans and rice from the lunch menu. I have allergies to wheat, soy, and other things, so I asked the waiter to see if it was allergen free, and he was very helpful.
The food was great, the menu has plenty of gluten-free dishes, but you need to ask about any other allergens besides gluten. The red beans came with a sausage that was quite tasty, and the consistency of the beans was perfect. There’s salt at hand if you need some hypertension in your life, and the wait staff preemptively offered hot sauce, which I used to add some spice.
The atmosphere was nice and comfortable, there is a bar for drinks, and TVs for sports. It was clean and everyone was friendly.

Recommended to us by locals, and we can see why. The food was fantastic, the environment was friendly, and the service was great. We ate good, and would come back for round two if we were in the area.

This was my first time at Bon Temps. I drove 3 hours in from Shreveport, Louisiana for a concert and I had been hearing great things about the restaurant so I thought I would stop in. I was not disappointed. The food and service were amazing. Next time I’m in Lafayette again I will definitely be back. ❤️
