We walked in as a large group and the Haitian restaurant decor and the main owner/ chef made it such a memorable culinary experience We weren’t sure what to order but the chef was super kind, gracious, welcoming and gave some amazing food recommendations I had the chicken pate while others had chicken stew, fried pork, and fried goat and each bite was just wow We all particularly loved the bean puree along with the mushroom rice and plantain Our full compliments to the chef for making such incredible delicious Haitian food Highly recommend this 11/10 venue for anyone who wants to try authentic Haitian food with fantastic service

I had such a wonderful experience at BonGou Haitian Restaurant in Lake Worth Beach! I’m visiting from New York, and from the moment I walked in, I felt so proud to be Haitian.
I was greeted by the sweetest woman, Velitte, whose warm and welcoming energy truly made my day. The customer service was outstanding, attentive, kind, and genuine.
The restaurant was very clean as well. The drinks are fresh and flavorful too .
Everything about my visit was worth every penny. If you’re looking for authentic Haitian food with amazing hospitality, this is definitely the place to go. I will absolutely be back whenever I’m in Florida!

Wow this was my first time trying Haitian food and I am hooked. I wanted to try something new but I had to clue what to order and the staff was soooo helpful. They educated me on their tasty dishes and narrowed down my search. I decided to try a little bit of everything and I was not disappointed. I also tried their passion fruit juice that they made in house and it was sooo good. The ambiance in this place is so refreshing and they even support local business. You definitely have to give this place a try especially if you are craving Haitian food, thanks to the staff for everything.

I ordered from Bongou Cuisine and the food was amazing! The spaghetti was flavorful and perfectly cooked, and I loved that it came with boiled eggs on the side. The portion sizes were generous and definitely worth it. Everything was neatly packed, and I appreciated the attention to detail. The drinks paired perfectly with the meal, making it a complete and satisfying experience.

I ordered some Lalo today and a griot fritay. As soon as I opened the plate I realized something was wrong. There was a funny smell. I put some lalo and rice on my plate and I realized the bad smell was coming from the lalo. It was spoiled and instead of trashing it, the reheated it and sold it to me. No respect to people. I am a pregnant woman and I hope just one spoon is not going to cause me any problem. I also tried to reach out to the restaurant to request a refund and they rejected my request. Do not go to this place. Now I know why it was so empty. No one returns! DO NOT BUY FOOD FROM THEM.

My Haitian and Jamaican aides have raved about the takeout food that I bought them for Valentine’s Day. My wife was not well today so I went and had a “bon temps.” I ordered the Tissot which was prepared in a way that is not like Middle Eastern heritage to my knowledge. Unfortunately my French is poor (see spelling above) so I was embarrassed to ask questions after being tutored by both lady aides what to order. Honestly, j’oublie. The black rice was amazing. The plantain hit the spot. I hope I used the right condiment on the fresh lettuce and tomato salad. I ate the carrots from the red sauce cup and spooned some on my black rice. I missed eating the chopped white condiment because my eyes are bad. The meal was more than I could finish, so I took home and ate more. [Did NOT give any to my wife. Ma pauvre chou ] promised to come again and requested to take picture of person who took great care of me for this review. I loved the food. Wish I could speak better Francaise

The food is banging!!!! The service was great! I came for breakfast with my daughter and was not disappointed at all. Good homestyle Haitian breakfast like mom would make. I would give it 10 stars if I could.

Came back for another visit. As usual, the service is amazing! The establishment is super clean and bright. It doesn’t feel like you’re typical Haitian restaurant. I had a fried pattie that was really thick and big. You can tell it was made with love. It’s an entire meal by itself. Get that and a drink and you’re good for half the day. 10 out of 10!

I heard about this place from my friend and boy oh boy this place didn’t disappoint.. from the griot , the rice , the spaghetti and the patty… the lady up front her customer service was impeccable.. my new go to spot.
