This time our waiter seemed very annoyed for some reason. As a former server I assumed it was because we were sat in the back in what was obviously a closed section. Probably because we had a teenager with us ♀
She was sweet at first but when I asked for lemon to go in my L.I.T. she immediately got attitude with me. Never went away either. She brought slimy lemon, took forever to get a chicken Caesar salad and we were
ready to leave when my husband’s burger finally arrived. She blamed it on the kitchen. SERVERS!!! DON’T DO THAT!!! Especially when it’s dead. Disrespectful. Unprofessional. Chose to eat at Jack in the Box instead myself. I would not spend another dime there than we already had. The cherry on top was they had a dog that all the servers were loving on (understandably as it was so cute). However no one was washing their hands before handing food or drinks. Gross. Hate this so much! We throughly enjoyed our first visit. I hate that is the first meal my family member had upon their return from California after 2 months. Just a bummer. Burgers are still fire tho . Even at room temp.
It was our first time visiting, and unfortunately, the interaction we had with Olivia left us feeling uncomfortable and unwelcome. When someone in our group asked about paying for a pool game, the response came across as dismissive, along with a look that made him feel embarrassed for simply asking a question. As first-time guests, we were unfamiliar with how things worked, and a little patience or friendliness would have gone a long way.
Later, when ordering drinks and attemptingto order food, the same negative demeanor continued. The facial expressions and tone made us feel like we were a nuisance rather than paying customers. We understand that busy days can be stressful, especially during major events, but hospitality and basic courtesy still make a big difference in how guests experience a place.
I chose not to say anything in the moment, but the interaction stuck with me because no one should feel belittled for asking normal questions. I hope this feedback can be taken constructively so future guests don’t leave feeling the same way we did.
Thank you for your time.
