Decent atmosphere and service. However if you’re looking for authentic mexican food this place isn’t it in the slightest. Burrito was made with weird white and black and white rice, not even spanish rice. No sort of salsa or de gallo. When asked what kind of meat I want with my burrito i respond carnitas. (Because this is a taqueria right?) Nope. “Only shredded beef or shredded pork.” Carnitas is shredded pork!?! Overall very disappointing, decent spot for a quick drink but anything more than that there’s far better mexican food in the area. I’d suggest a name change taqueria doesn’t fit this establishment in the slightest.

It’s amazing how quickly what used to be a really decent Mexican bar can collapse.
For many years, Bombs Away was my go-to place in town to bring friends for dinner and drinks.
I’m not sure if there are new owners or what… the place has gone downhill in a big way.
Go to any other Mexican restaurant in town, even taco bell, and you will probably be better off.

I recently found out about Bombs Away and was surprised to see they have comedy nights every Wednesday. The comedians were really funny, the drinks were great, and the service was quick. The bartender was very professional, and the food was better than I expected for a bar.

This is a great restaurant/BAR in Corvallis, Oregon.
Terrific food, bomb tacos, bomb burgers, bomb margaritas, live music! great drinks, many tap beer choices, friendly staff. Earn a free tshirt if you dare join The Tequila Club if you are 21 and over ! Get your name on the wall!

Loved this place! Would def revisit it I lived closer! Perfect vibe for a meal with a friend, family or by yourself. I’m v inspired by the wall mural. Tried the blue cheese bowl with tofu and the burrito and both were great. Very flavorful. Super friendly staff.

Definitely a hidden gem of Corvallis!!! Tacos! Burgers! Tequila Club! Tap beers! Nice lil quiet bar! Good music! What more could you ask for!!!! Highly Recommend!

BLOODY DRIVE
This place had some decent drinks but the food was god awful. Expect to pay $20 dollars for a burger that’s the size of a McDonald’s cheeseburger that doesn’t even taste as good. Or a burrito that hardly has any protein in it. Honestly super disappointed. Don’t go here to eat!

I could not have made a better choice in bartenders for our wedding. Before the wedding Bombs Away Bartending and Catering answered all my questions and helped me to ensure I had everything to make the night a success. They arrived on time, dressed for the occasion, and immediately got to work organizing and prepping the bar for the wedding. My guests were raving all night about how fun the bar was and how kind the bartenders were. They were clearly experienced and able to make GOOD drinks that kept our guests happy and going back for more. We had 150 guests and there was never a line for drinks. They kept everything moving quickly and always made sure the bride and groom were served first. I could not recommend their services more! If we ever have another big event, they will be the first people I call.
