Been eating at Big M for years. Always love the atmosphere. First time there since new name. Food was excellent. We had the Tony and a French dip. Was really good. They were very busy on a Friday night and told us up front it would take awhile. I won’t complain about a little extra time at the lake on a floating restaurant! The waitresses were very polite, helpful and unnecessariky apologetic for the wait.

Last time I ordered a fish basket and could smell the fish before it even got to the table. I did not try eating it
Today I chose the Rueben after asking which was better, Rueben or “pig”. I was assured both were really good.
We waited and waited and waited and waited and finally our food arrived. I commented that it took awhile “well there was a six top ahead of you”. The only other table in the restaurant and they had been eating for at least 10 maybe 15 minutes.
While the Rueben did look delicious, I tried 3 times to take a bite and couldn’t get through the pastrami and yes I have all of my teeth. I tried pulling a piece of it apart with my hands and couldn’t. So I ate my sweet potato fries and then went over to the store for ice cream. Last chance

Great place with good food! The staff were doing their absolute best with a super busy Saturday crowd.
