I like this place and the food is delicious. It just needs some spoofing up, but that doesn’t take from the integrity of the place or how delicious the food is. The tandoori chicken was the best. It was affordable and thanks for the great tea. ☕️

Clean place. There wasn’t much of a wait for dinner. We ordered trishool non veg biryani, fish pulusu, butter chicken, jaupuri bindi, and panner veg biryani (which needed reminder). The food was on the salty side, which we had to order extra naan. Decent quality food. There’s only one bathroom for everyone. We had to place the order with the owner at the counter.

We’ve been loyal fans of their gongura biryanis—both paneer and chicken—for years, and they never disappoint! I really appreciate that they don’t tone down the flavors unless you ask them to. Yes, the biryani can get quite spicy, but that’s exactly what makes it stand out—the depth and authenticity of the flavor really shine.

The new owners are incredibly welcoming and kind, which adds to the overall experience. We’re excited to try their new menu, especially the seafood options. If the biryani is any indication, we’re in for a treat!

One the best weekend buffets in town. The buffet costs around $20 per person and offered a lot of south Indian variety cuisine to choose from. This place is not as fancy as others but the food was hot, fresh and spicy too! There were multiple beverage options, including beer and wine to choose along with the food. They make sure the food is refilled up quick and not make their customers wait for long. I have tried couple of other hyderabadi buffet places around town and this one beats them all. Service is great . Highly recommend.

Somehow the quality is not that great. Chicken dum Biriyani was little bit watery inside with more masala. We liked gongura chicken biryani. Spicy chicken fry is I think overcooked. Chicken 65 is not a dry item and is full of onions and bell peppers. The prices have gone up but the quality has come down. I will probably go only for buffet next time.

“Visited with family and loved it! Bombay to Goa serves a variety of dishes that cater to all tastes—vegetarian, seafood, and meaty curries. The taste is authentic, the portions generous, and the staff super friendly. Ignore the name debate; the food speaks for itself!”

A true taste of India!
This restaurant doesn’t water down its flavors to cater to everyone—it proudly serves authentic Indian cuisine just the way it should be. I tried the Gongura Chicken Biryani, and it was genuinely satisfying—fresh, served piping hot, and bursting with traditional spices. The complimentary masala chai on-site was the perfect finishing touch. I’ll definitely be coming back!

We’ve been coming here for years for their biryanis (particularly the gongura paneer biryani, which is the best among the ones we’ve tried in the South Bay). Even though they’re under new management, they’ve kept the biryanis which remain on the menu. We’re excited to try their Maharashtrian/Konkani menu in due time as well. The owners are very welcoming and kind.

Nestled in the heart of the city, definitely a go-to place for Indian food when you are in and around Sunnyvale, Milpitas, San Jose, Santa Clara. One of the best cozy restaurants around. Quality at Sankranthi stands outstanding. Everything feels fresh, delicious dishes, exceptional presentation. From the starter to the dessert the quality of the food stood out of the box.

Incredible dining experience! Don’t expect to leave the gourmet kitchen hungry. Consider skipping a few meals before dining at this remarkable restaurant. Each dish is so delicious, you’ll find it hard to resist trying them all.

In conclusion, Sambar-Chicken rice is a must-try for anyone looking to explore the vibrant world of South Indian cuisine. Whether you’re a foodie or just looking for a quick and tasty meal on the go, it’s sure to satisfy your cravings and leave you craving more.
