This was the best Indian food I’ve ever had! We’re in town from Cincinnati and definitely stopping in again on our way out! Everything was fantastic, the flavors were so bold, and stand out. I’ve eaten so much Indian food and this will by far be the best I’ve ever had! Pictured is the butter chicken, Paneer Kadai, and Malabar Paratha. Just visit this place!

Food was incredible. Well balanced. Affordable. Pristine customer service. Establishment was clean and well kept. Nobody was waiting too long. Lots of delicious options on the menu with a spectrum for various spice tolerances. Would go again.

Incredible food, warm and friendly service and great ambience. Every dish is so flavorful, pure and comforting. A new top favorite for us. If you haven’t been yet, you need to go now! Don’t skip out on the beverages.

Delicious food that doesn’t compromise on flavors, quality and quantity. The flavors were exactly as we find them, back in India. A place that reminds you of home, away from home. Often Indian food is changed to meet the western palate. It is refreshing to see a place that holds on the the roots so well!

The menu is thoughtfully crafted with a balance of vegetarian and meat options that not only have popular choices, but also offers malabar paratha, qhubani ki mithai, nawabi phirni and almond thandai.. all very rarely found in most Indian restaurants. Despite the variety, the menu is not overwhelming (in a good way!)

Highly recommend this place if you are in and around Pittsburgh, PA.

I’ve been looking for stuffed baby eggplant since I had it in the Bay Area 15 years ago and this is the first place I’ve found it across 6 metropolitan areas! Perfectly silky and spiced!Gutti vankaya showed up on their excellent Sunday brunch today, here’s hoping they put it on their main menu moving forward!

We went during the Sunday brunch and arrived around 11:30 am. There was seating, there were also other folks at several tables. A nice level of customers. We actually ordered from the menu (due to dietary restrictions) while our friend indulged in the buffet and found it delightful.

The staff and the chef are very mindful of their ingredients and can tell you exactly what is in any particular dish, but you need to make them aware of your specific dietary needs. If they can suggest a dish that suits you, you won’t regret it; that being said, it is a regular restaurant, not one that caters specifically to those of us who have restrictions on what we can eat.

As for parking, since it was a Sunday, we opted to park on the side of a large office building just across Braddock Avenue and walk to the restaurant.

Service was swift, excellent, and simple. The dish I had, Dal Taadka, and the dish my husband had, Chana Masala, are both simple dishes in their ingredient list, but DO NOT let this fool you! The level of care and the complexity of both of these “simple” dishes was masterful, IMO. Furthermore, I asked for a spice level of “medium” and it was exactly what I expected. I know that everyone has a different tolerance level, and sometimes I am surprised by how hot something is at a Thai restaurant, for example, but here, they have it fine tuned and medium really means medium. This might be a first for me, while YMMV.

Overall, it’s obvious to me that the folks that run this restaurant really care about their food and their service, as humble as the building and menu may be. Yes, there are other places that have a much larger menu, but none of them can touch the quality level of Bombay to Burgh. I think this is my new favorite Indian restaurant in the area. I “lost” my first favorite a few years back when the original owners sold it. That place still has a large menu, but food is now just thrown together.

It’s NOT like that here! Please give B2B a try!

One of the best Indian restaurants in Pittsburgh! The food is absolutely delicious — rich in flavor, authentic, and beautifully presented. The atmosphere inside is warm and welcoming, with a cozy and vibrant vibe. The staff are polite, attentive, and make you feel right at home. Highly recommended for anyone craving quality Indian cuisine!

Thank you so much, Amrender Singh(Angad). See you again my friend

A beautiful restaurant, lovely waitress, felt very tended to! And even more than that the FOOD WAS AMAZING! It is the best Indian I’ve had in Pittsburgh- definitely try some of the small plates (the dahi kebab is AMAZING). Maybe the best garlic naan I’ve had, crispy and soft and not burnt!
