We went here for lunch
Not very hungry and decided to have one biryani to share between us
The Gentleman smiled and welcome us, and humble
The you g gile was also welcoming.
The biryani was tasty and spicy ( as we asked for Indian spicy)
The only reason I gave three to the food is the goat pieces in the biryani were mixed of nice and cooked juicy and rock hard dry. That means the chef (cook) decided to mix some old pcs in the biryani with some newly cooked one
Over all good experience

We decided to try this place out when this place gave off an irresistible smell of food when we passed by and it didn’t disappoint.

We came as a group and ordered more dishes for sharing. We had some of the signature curry dishes in mild spicy. My favorite would be the fish curry and vegetable salad. We got some naans for sharing and they were all flavorsome and crispy.

We were satisfied with our dining experience as food was served quick and the server was attentive to us.

My friend and I stumbled upon this amazing Indian restaurant, and you could just feel right away that it was the real deal. The owner/manager/server was incredibly warm, welcoming, and attentive. He asked about our preferred spice level, and we said “medium,” but when the dishes arrived, he came by to check on us again. We told him we could probably handle a bit more heat, so he brought out fresh green chili for us to try — and wow, it took the food to a whole new level.

Honestly, it was the best Indian food I’ve had so far. We ordered the Lamb Rogan Josh and Lazeez Lamb with garlic naan, and everything was absolutely delicious. We’re definitely coming back!

There are a few other Indian cuisines in very close proximity to this place! It was the most busiest so we went with it! Huge variety and tasty dishes! Excellent service as well!

Good feed. Prawns a little dry and hot tasted a bit like a medium. Other than that a great place and would recommend if after a curry in Queenstown.

We went tonight with our 2 children (7&9) – it was a hot for us all & the kids have asked to go again. We had popudum platter, onion bhaji, roti, chicken Balti & an aloo gobhi masala.
Great service, so friendly & attentive. The smells coming from outside drew us in, as dogs how many others were going.
No photos this time as we devoured it so quickly!

Lamb Rogan Josh was lovely. Goat special was very oily not my good. Great butter chicken and korma also really nice. Onion baji wasn’t good, doughy and not crispy like it should be. Naan was good. Would order again but avoid the special and the baji

I accidentally ordered pickup instead of delivery which in fact they don’t do anyway so I should have ordered on UberEats. They were so kind when I rang and explained I didn’t have a car & they organised delivery anyway. As it was such a busy time in Queenstown this was amazing service & I was very grateful plus the food was delicious and servings generous, enough for 2 meals. Thank you so much, if I return to QT I will definitely come in to your restaurant to dine!

Bombay Palace in Queenstown is a delightful spot for Indian cuisine, offering bold flavors in a cozy setting. The Goat curry and prawns tandoori
are rich and authentic, paired perfectly with butter garlic naan. Friendly staff provide attentive service, enhancing the warm ambiance, the quality and taste justify the cost. A must-visit for curry cravings in the heart of Queenstown.
