My wife and I had dinner here before a concert at the Saban Theater. I was very disappointed. The food was good, and I was thinking we’d come here again. But when I got the check, I found that an automatic 20% “Service Fee” had been added. I’m sick and tired of tip inflation, and having the “tip” added automatically as a “service” fee w/ no option to modify it is just insulting. I will not go back and I will not recommend to others. That practice is disingenuous and should not be rewarded with repeat business, imo. Raise prices if you have to, but a tip is an optional, discretionary gift to the server in recognition of service given, not a “service fee” shoved down your throat. I might have tipped 20% in any case – but it should be my option.

Best Indian Restaurant in LA! The vegetarian food was amazing! The music, ambience, interiors, service were all great! Definitely repeating every time I am in town!

Giving it 2 star because the food here is okay but the service and the sever / owner is really bad. He is rude, unhelpful and doesn’t answer any questions you ask him. He thinks he is funny but he is not really. On top of that, you get a surprise on your check with mandatory 20% service fee. With his service, I would have never given him 20% so makes sense why he does that sneakily.

If I had an option to put 0 star I’d give a big 0. Very rude staff. Perhaps they only wish to serve rich bees. I ordered the food and asked if I could join the wifi, and they were like NO. right on your face. I was like thats rude. I immediately left the place. Very poor customer service. Also its too pricy. Wouldn’t recommend.

Their paneer tikkas are to die for. Made from scratch every day. If you love some good old desi paneer, you should definitely pay them a visit. Also try their garlic naans. Their meat is also halal!

OVERPRICED AND RUDE OWNER! Used to love this place but I will never go back again. I understand that people needed to increase their prices due to inflation, but the portions are so ridiculously small for $30 per entree. They charge a 20% service fee and had the audacity to say that this isn’t the tip and asked us to give even more money… how do they expect people to tip more than 20%, let alone for a party of two?! AND they charged us the service fee before tax, so we got taxed on it as well. The owner said this is required, but I’ve never been to any other restaurant that does this. When my husband asked him about it, he got super defensive and was incredible rude saying we are wrong. We went home and looked it up and he is totally running a sketchy business to make more money off people. He is a CROOK!

The restaurant had amazing food. My table only order pure vegetarian food and we couldn’t stop licking out fingers. However, the overall service did not meet the mark. The restaurant’s interior is certainly out dated and could use some renovation. This restaurant is located 6 minutes from Rodeo drive and definitely a great area. All in all good food.
