What a great little place. The service was really fast and friendly and the food is so tasty. We had the chat starters which are so fresh and light and then I had the fish Goan curry and my wife had the paneer curry. Both were flavoured and spiced just right. If you are after a good curry this is the place to come in this area.

What a great find. The food was delicious. The setting wasn’t grand, more cafe like, but the food was good and that’s what we went for.

Service 5/5
Food 5/5

Really nice service. The guy welcomed us, gave us recommendations, and served us at the top level.

We wandered what to eat, as a first time trying Indian food, and he explained to us everything. What to expect, and what it will fit most as a side dish. We took every single piece of advice, and we were not disappointed.

We took shrimp curry, fish masala, rice with veggies as side dishes, and two Indian beers.

The guy asked us how spicy we eat, so they can match our taste in order to feel the smell and the taste of every ingredient.

Definitely will come back again here if we visit this region again.

We were just walking past this restaurant on our way to the centre of town and we decided to read the menu and then decided to try it out.
I’ve worked in India and I have a good idea about the taste of the food and this was the absolute best food we have had anywhere around Europe or India.
We decided to come back again and it was absolutely brilliant, so the decor is basic and very clean, so too are the toilets but it’s the food that is the winner here and the staff are so humbled and helpful.

If I ever come back to Malta again this restaurant will be my first restaurant to visit, I’m giving it a 5 star

I visited Bombay Masala in Bugibba and tried the chicken biryani—it was flavorful and came with raita, which complemented it well. I also ordered a mango shake, which tasted nice, though the quantity felt a bit less for the price. The gulab jamun was served hot and soft, but it lacked the syrup, which took away from the complete experience.

One major issue was the presence of flies inside the restaurant, which made the dining environment uncomfortable and unhygienic. If the cleanliness is improved, the overall experience could be much better
Food quality is good, but hygiene definitely need attention.

Nice menu options not too many choices like some places, good vegetarian options as well. However don’t seem to grasp the concept of spicy onions or if that’s just a UK thing. Price for everything (mixed veg curry, plain naan, basmati rice, spiced onion (yes they chopped and spiced an onion) , indian tea) €16 and chicken dishes only a few euro more so avg €20 euro PP.

We went there for dinner and we made the right choice for sure. The staff were very kind to us and help us choosing the food. Everything we ate was delicious, especially the butter chicken and the bread (also the traditional drinks are refreshing and tasty).
If you have the chance, eating here is a must.

I’m a local and had the pleasure of trying many indian restaurants in Malta. Bombay Masala trumps most of them easily with the freshness and quality of the food. The restaurant is clean and offers good service. Ok its plastic chairs, and more focused on takeaways but the price=quality ratio is top. Keep it up!

Delicious Indian Cuisine at Bombay Masala!

Had a fantastic meal at Bombay Masala in Malta! The butter chicken was rich, flavorful, and perfectly cooked, and the garlic naan was soft, warm, and the perfect complement. Amazing food and great flavors—I’ll definitely be back! Highly recommend!
