Very bad experience. They served only one mini idli in a bowl of sambar. When I asked about it, they said the dish comes with one idli and sambar only, calling it soup. This feels like taking advantage of customers.
The waiter was rude and grumpy, kept saying “this is all we have,” and showed no interest in helping or explaining the menu. It felt like they just wanted customers to eat quickly and leave.
When we questioned the portion, they replied, “This is how it’s served,” without any explanation or concern. The service was unprofessional and careless.
Because of this, we left without eating. They also served dahi kebab, which tasted sour and not fresh.
Bad food, bad service, and a very uncomfortable experience. Extremely disappointing. Will never visit again.

Extremely bad experience due to serious food quality and freshness issues across the entire order, with real consequences.
I ordered samosa chaat, paneer chili, paneer makhani platter with rice, and lachha paratha. Every single item was concerning. Nothing tasted fresh. The food appeared old, excessively oily, reheated, and poorly handled.
The samosa used in the chaat was clearly not fresh and had a strong, stale, and disgusting smell. The paneer chili was completely inedible — the paneer pieces had a foul odor, and I could not eat more than one or two pieces. It smelled like very old or improperly stored paneer. The rest of the food was no better — heavy, unpleasant, and clearly not freshly prepared.
Because of the smell and poor quality, I was unable to eat even 25% of the food. Within a few hours of eating a very small amount, I developed severe bloating, nausea, and stomach distress that lasted through the night and continued into the next day. This reaction was serious enough that I have not been able to go to work and have been suffering at home.
To make matters worse, one item from the order was also missing (gulab jamun), showing poor order accuracy on top of unacceptable food quality.
I paid around $60 for this order, and what I received was unsafe, inedible food that caused significant physical distress and disrupted my ability to work. This is completely unacceptable.
Based on the smell, freshness, quality, and the physical impact afterward, this is not a place I would trust or order from again.

Worst food ever. It is not even close to Indian cuisine nor Bombay cuisine. We ordered samosa chaat and chicken biryani, never have I ever, not even in the remotest of places eaten something they claim to be biryani as bad as this, the chicken is stale, the rice is very oily. Samosa chaat is very terrible. If you’re in this area, please visit Ruchi priya Indian kitchen, it is 50 times better than this.

The food is amazing! I always come here with my girlfriend because it’s such a welcoming atmosphere. We also enjoy the spice levels as we are always getting the spiciest! On top of the food, the service is always amazing! Pavitra helped us today and she was super sweet and welcoming. I genuinely love this place, and though it’s a little pricy, it’s always worth the experience.

Lovely restaurant, I’d give 10 stars if I could. Wonderful staff, excellent service, AMAZING food. I’ve been a few times, and it only gets better. Thankful for the good eats and hospitality, 10/10! Butter chicken and garlic naan are the way.

Average food, if you are from India and looking for good Indian food this is not the place. If you have average expectations, then you are fine. We ordered chicken Manchurian with spice level 9 and the chicken was very dry and stale and not at all spicy.
The food did not meet our expectations. Hope they can make it better.

I was concerned after seeing some reviews here that this place has changed. Thankfully it was just as amazing as previous times. We stop here when we’re in town and the food has always been delicious. The sauce was rich and flavorful the chicken tender and the garlic naan fresh and perfect. I’m not sure what the others problem was but this place has been consistently awesome. As for the quantity it wasn’t huge but I’m a big guy and I was filled up with a little left to take home.

Really great Indian food. I’ve eaten at Indian restaurants across several states, and this is one of my favorites. Their Gobi Manchurian is very tasty. Great lamb vindaloo, and chicken palak. And their rice is cooked perfectly, not sticky or soggy. Definitely the best place for Indian food in Morgantown.

Some of the best Indian food I’ve had since living in Singapore. Expensive, so it will remain as a once in a while treat (around $19 for paneer tikka masala + tandoori naan) but the food is delicious. The mango lassi was lovely. Overall it is very filling, I managed to spread out the paneer and naan over three meals.

I went to Bombay for the first time. I had the veggie samosas, butter chicken, rice and garlic naan. It was SO good. I admit the prices shocked me a bit but I will happily pay a little more for quality food. Pavi (I’m so sorry if I spelled this wrong) was so sweet!
