Background: I LOVE Indian food. I have eaten it from various spots all over the country, most of them very good to perfect. This is not one of those locations.

Order: Chicken Tikka Masala, Garlic Naan, Samosas

Chicken Tikka Masala: essentially tomato soup with chunks of chicken in it. No spice whatsoever. The chicken was overcooked and dry. And even if the sauce wasn’t even good if you tried to imagine it as tomato soup instead of Indian food. 3/10

Garlic Naan: it appears to be a flat bread with a green herb just sprinked on top. Most authentic Indian restaurants have actually pieces of Garlic cooked into or onto their Naan. This one had no garlic flavor at all. 2/10

Samoas: the best part of the order, but don’t interpret that as them being good. Lacking in crunch and in flavor. It’s kind of hard to make something that is deep fried and has potato in it taste bad, so these were okay. The chutney included with them might have helped the flavor, but I didn’t receive any with my order. 4/10

Came here for brunch and loved it — delicious chai made from scratch, and a great fusion menu with a mix of Indian and American brunch classics. I ordered the Sali Par Eidu and it was great. Also make sure to try the masala salt seasoning they have at the tables (a great addition with a little kick and a little salt).

The food was pathetic – all vegetarian and non-vegetarian options we ordered were terrible – not even close to how Indian food should taste. It was like the curries were prepared by mixing the ingredients (bad tasting tomato purée+ paneer/chicken + random spices ( they had no idea what spices to add )+ a ton of oil) all at once and heated together for 2-3 mins. As someone who knows the taste of Indian food, it was such a bad experience. We took four curries and were given three tiniest servings of rice with the curries; we asked the restaurant to add more boxes of rice(at least to match the number of curries), and to add to our disappointment, we were charged $4 each for the tiniest boxes of rice – not to forget the rice in all boxes was only half cooked; We ended up throwing it in the trash.
The menu is limited, and all the listed items are not even available. We asked for Daal Makhani; instead, we were served boiled split chickpeas daal.
Food is a significant part of any vacation, and choosing this restaurant for dinner was the major lowlight of the entire trip for me and my friends.
Moreover, the food is overpriced – huge disappointment given the horrible taste.

– Food was great (had butter chicken and tikka masala chicken). Flavors were very good and chicken was well cooked.
– Very small portion of rice. Only one small cup of loosely packed rice was included. Disappointed with that.
– Naan was perfect, but again, just one piece. It was a decent sized piece, but not $7 worth
– Really expensive for the portion sizes.
– Overall, I’d go again but not that often unless portion sizes are better.

Mike is a great guy and an amazing bartender! Try the firing squad if you want something totally different. The food is great as long as you consider it Indian inspired. I’m sure your Indian grandmother can make a delicious curry, but this definitely hits the right notes. Overall 10/10 for service, vibe, and experience!

Came here one summer night with friends after a movie … it was wonderful! The food was incredibly tasty (we are all vegetarians) and the drinks were excellent, especially for the prices, which were significantly lower than many Vineyard spots. The atmosphere was relaxed with a Sox game playing over the bar. The owner came by to say hello — he was friendly and welcoming. Overall, a fabulous experience! Go before the word gets out!!

My husband and I and our two children went to this restaurant last Friday evening, and we had an amazing time!! My family and I are VERY big on “the customer experience”, and this was like no other!! The manager, Roger, and the bar tender, Mike, was incredible!! The food was cooked with love!! EVERYTHING WAS NEXT LEVEL DELICIOUS!!!! The atmosphere was very inviting and personable! They made us feel like we were VIPs all night long. It was like nothing we have ever experienced! We HIGHLY recommend!!!

Thank you Roger & Mike!!!

I was really impressed with the quality of the food. The Island has been sorely missing a place that serves Indian cuisine. Austin (the owner) is friendly and welcoming and that he endeavors to stay open year-round is highly appreciated. Plenty of seating to get a quality meal with friends and family.

Great Indian food made by a knowledgeable chef with a passion for the cuisine. Everything is made fresh including the naan! Very tasty and very generous portions (I’m a big guy and I get 2 meals out of each serving). Excellent new addition to the island and extremely glad they’re open year round! Something that isn’t pizza, Chinese, burgers, or sandwiches!
