Dimly lit Indian restaurant with traditional adornments, a broad dinner menu & a lunch buffet.

Landed in Seattle airport at 10pm and this was the only Indian restaurant open at that time. Was very satisfied with the taste. The food tasted like authentic Indian food and the service was really good. They welcomed us even at late night and was able to serve what we wanted. They even served us complimentary dessert Would come back again.

If I could do negative stars I would. The service sucked, I didn’t bring my drink and when he did it was wrong and then told me they didn’t have any of what I wanted, when I got my food one it was small two it tasted horrible and under cooked, the restaurant was dirty and gross, dust and dirt over everything, there was glitter on my silverware, a hair in my boyfriends drink, when they brought me different food cause what they gave me was so bad, it was the same thing just spicy and it was still under cooked and tasted so bad, I have never been so upset and disgusted with a place. The bathroom had cobwebs and was filthy, the whole place was bad and disappointing.

I don’t normally write reviews but today was a worst experience with this restaurant! We placed an order for a birthday and the service and communication were terrible and rude. After calling to find out about my order (1 1/2 hours after placed), the girl ignored me and refused to answer my question regarding my order. She set the phone down (not even on hold) and left it there until I tried calling back (with no luck since there was no answer). The order was finally delivered 2 hours later. Our order had one dish wrong which we had paid extra for. I do not recommend this restaurant to anyone. I understand that it’s not fast food but 2 hours?! Very sad because I wish there were more Indian restaurants.

So I am not someone who usually takes the time to write feedback but thought it was fair considering it had so many awful reviews. My beau and I stumbled upon this place looking for houses in the area. At first glance it seemed a little odd but we were feeling adventurous, and hungry of course. We arrived around 5:30 and the place was empty…quite disconcerting and awkward, (enhanced by silence that could have been remedied by some background music) but we decided to give it a try. The server I assumed was the owner, an older gentleman who was super nice but kinda slow bringing our drinks. We started with an appetizer – the fish and chips – and I just have to say after the first bite my all my apprehension disappeared…it was absolutely amazing! For the main dish I ordered the mango chicken with rice and bread and to my delight every bite was phenomenal. Even after being full I couldn’t resist eating more. I honestly cannot recall a time I had better food. If you like Indian food this place is worth a try. We will definitely be eating here again.

I went there for dinner I have not been to the buffet. The food was excellent, not greasy, delightfully flavorful, and food allergy friendly!
The atmosphere was nice, the back room is fancy the main area was slightly nicer than average. I liked the candles they had on the table. It could use more coziness up by the windows.
The service was excellent, everyone was friendly, understanding, and quick to help.
I will go there again and I highly recommend it especially if you have food allergies like me.

Ordered for delivery; after calling the restaurant 5 times and being hung up on and lied to, finally delivered the food 4 hours after ordering, at 1:30 in the morning. Insanely rude, after more arguing they finally offered a $5 discount on the next order. Food was not good, clearly had been sitting on heaters for hours which we saw in the driver’s car as well, zero spice and extremely bland. I didn’t realize you could make Indian curries bland. Outrageous and would never recommend to anyone or ever order from here again.

NOT RECOMMENDED! TERRIBLE SERVICE!!! Their food sounded amazing online. Unfortunately they never delivered after I ordered and paid for delivery. Not late, not cold, not the incorrect order…NOTHING!! On top of that, no one called to say they were running late or that there was a problem with my order. No one answered the phone and basically I called to find out where my food was until they eventually closed. We essentially went to bed hungry and were left with cereal for dinner. Hoping I’ll get my money back and now I have to wait till the morning to deal with this service. IT THE ONLY THING THEY DO. MAKE FOOD. The least they could do is let me know whats up with my order so I could explore other options. Now it is too late to order from other places. I will not be recommending this to anyone unless their management makes some serious changes to their service.

The food was outstanding and worth the wait. We have eaten from numerous Indian restaurants and this was near the top of our list. The food quality is excellent. It took some time for delivery, but with the kind of food that you’re getting it’s not surprising. Nice job Bombay Grill and welcome to the neighborhood!

TERRIBLE service, great*** food
I ordered the
butter chicken
Butter naan
Garlic naan
All of which was delicious. My only critique about the food is that I wish the bread was more toasted. I like a little crunch But I understand with delivery, that extra time can mess with textures. DO NOT order the mango lemonade. I don’t know what I got but it tasted nothing like mango or lemonade; nor was it even edible.
Now, the service… I originally called to place an order just for myself, but after hearing the minimum amount was 20 dollars; I couldn’t justify the exuberant spending on myself. The woman who took my order was very rude upon hearing this. She was snippy before, but after she was worse. I apologized for wasting her time and told her to have a nice day: to which she responded “yea.”
Shortly after, one of my friends decided they wanted Indian as well so I decided to give them another shot. again, I got the snippy lady. I was polite and patient; even though her attitude had not improved.
When the delivery driver showed up, he presented me with my food and credit card slips. I signed the slips, adding a generous tip. After the driver collected the papers he says: “you tip me? Are you going to tip me? Where’s my tip.” By this point I wanted to take back my 30% tip and write in a whopping zero. I’m a firm believer in tipping; but to ask, no DEMAND, is completely unacceptable. Especially when there’s a 15 dollar minimum wage.
Overall; disappointed in the customer service, pleasantly surprised by the food.
(Except that “lemonade.”)

I haven’t gotten my food yet so I can speak for how good it is. But my order is over an hour late. I called them when it was 5 minutes late and they said it was 10 minuets away. Then 20 minuets later Grub Hub called for me and they said it was 10 minuets away. I just called again they said it was 10 minuets away. There were several times I called and they didn’t answer. We’ll see if it ever comes. It unfortunate because I need to get to bed soon because I work early in the morning. I’m starving I hate this place.
