Reviews
The railway lamb and biriyani were particularly delicious. The portions were great sizes and we had to take the leftovers home. Highly recommend – five stars!
However, on arrival, a table booked for 9 was put onto a table of 8. We said we were expecting more people and we were met with looks of annoyance. We were then moved to a table of 10.
When going to pay separately I started to list what I had personally ordered. I was told “I don’t need to know, what do you owe- have you not worked it out for me!?”. While calling me “darling” he told me not to patronise him.
I’m astounded by the audacity of the gentleman with the grey bob. While the food was good, I will not return.
Very attentive service from the moment we arrived with the drinks and dips arriving very quickly.
Good starters of Onion Bhaji and Crispy Squid. Main courses of Chicken Tikka Masala and Chicken Tikka Madras.
The Madras had a bit of an after taste and was not what I am used to, although I appreciate that different chefs have different recipes.
Cobra beer on draught.
It was so tasty and quantity was just perfect- I’m full but not stuffed. The place was really busy (as you would expect for a Saturday night) but the staff were so attentive and we were served quickly but not rushed. I particularly enjoyed the crispy squid, and the garlic nann with hariali was sublime!
