Oh Bombay Garden, how do I begin? I started coming here a few years ago and have been hooked on your food like large mouth bass on a very sharp hook. If I was framed for murder and ended up on death row, this would be my last meal before I left this earth. Bombay Garden was there for me when no one else was, it truly is my will to live. This butter chicken is the light in an otherwise dark winding tunnel. When I heard that this account had been hacked and my first review had been deleted, I knew I must profess my love once again. The offer still stands, I’ll trade my non existent first born for one more bite of that warm, soft yet crispy garlic naan. See you soon Bombay <3

I had the opportunity to dine at Bombay a few weeks ago and it was by FAR the best Indian food I’ve ever had, and I’ve traveled all over the United States. It is a family owned business, and the employees are so kind and welcoming to their guests. I’ve read the negative reviews – they obviously haven’t had AUTHENTIC Indian cuisine. 10/10 recommend this place! AMAZING!!

Very nice folks, but really bland compared to real Indian/Greek food. Food was ready 6 minutes after ordering, so it was absolutely reheated/microwaved and it tasted like it too. Please keep in mind this is Mount Vernon – the rave reviews are largely from folks that think black pepper is too spicy and who haven’t eaten actual Indian or Greek food before to realize how much flavor is missing. Spanakopita was 75% tough dough that was clearly frozen food and chicken biryani had almost no flavor/reheated rice.

Extremely friendly family-owned restaurant. Every time I’m in town I make SURE that I stop here at least once. Genuinely my favorite restaurant within like 50 miles. You have to try the cheese dip and the lamb curry, those were my favorites!

Woah! Unbelievable I heard someone say they serve frozen food, but come on, that’s totally not true! I was a bit worried before eating here, but the lunch was excellent. The meat was perfectly cooked, and the aloo matar was on point. I just wish you guys had paratha or chapati on the menu! Best of luck to everyone and special thanks to the lady at the counter, she was so welcoming and sweet! I’ll definitely try again before leaving tomorrow. Thanks!

Absolutely top 10 food places in MV. Service is aways on point fast and efficient, it is a family restaurant and you can feel that with how your treated, it’s amazing how they remember your order after a couple time coming in I swear it’s a super power! The food is always fresh and I have yet to get a bad order. This restaurant is truly top tier.

This place is wonderful. It feels a little odd when you first walk in. Decor is dated and the place is not usually busy. But the food is unbelievable! Everything tastes so good and authentic. There’s a lot of variety so I have been trying a many different dishes as I can and I am hard pressed to find something I don’t like. Every time I even think about this place I start craving the food. It’s a hole in the wall Mount Vernon staple.
