Reviews
The chhole, were decent, similar in taste to its sibling Chaat House, may be even the same recipe. The bhature had to be the worst I ever had, ever in my life. Too thick, had absorbed lots of oil, overall a pure disappointment. These were smaller (almost half the size) than all the other restaurants in Greater Seattle Area.
The service was too slow, which I do not mind much since there were close to 20 customers, but then the Vada Pao came out cold. No idea why! Thankfully they agreed to replace it, but it tasted bland. My wife is a big Vada Pao fan and she ended up not finishing it. It is still in the corner of my fridge, waiting for us to give-in. But, I am fairly confident its gonna end up in the trash after a day or two.
The atmosphere does get 3 stars with decent lighting, higher then average ceiling. We did want to try their shakes and more items in future but I think we will pass.
I ordered the butter chicken curry set for $9.99 (before tax), which came with curry, naan, and rice. I asked to change the garlic naan to plain naan.
The atmosphere felt similar to a food court—not bad, but nothing special.
The naan, however, was a bit unusual. It tasted and felt different from the naan I’ve had at over 20 other restaurants. It had a slightly pancake-like flavor and a subtle, unfamiliar texture. It was also very thin, which was a little disappointing.
The butter chicken curry itself was about a 3.5 out of 5. It wasn’t very buttery, but that might make it feel lighter and easier on the body.
As a petite woman, I felt full even before finishing the rice, but the portion might be a bit small for men.
Considering the price, the quantity and quality are reasonable. That said, rather than wanting to come back, this visit made me want to continue exploring other restaurants to find my go-to spot.
Won’t recommend.
What I Tried
Vada Pav, Pav Bhaji, Noodle Tikki Burger, Chole Puri, Veg Fried Rice, Paneer Manchurian & Masala Chai
⭐ The Verdict
• Vada Pav: Pretty decent! Not quite what you get on the streets of Mumbai, but enjoyable. (Still not sure why places keep adding onions to vada pav — that’s not how it’s traditionally done ).
• Pav Bhaji: Just okay — didn’t capture that bold, buttery street-style flavor.
• Noodle Tikki Burger: A fun twist! Crisp tikki with well-seasoned noodles made it a nice bite.
• Chole Puri: Excellent — puris were fried perfectly, and the chole had just the right masala balance.
• Veg Fried Rice: Surprisingly good, flavorful without being greasy.
• Paneer Manchurian: Decent, though not the classic Indo-Chinese flavor bomb.
• Masala Chai: Skip this one — lacks the punch of proper kadak chai.
Ambience & Service
The ambience is pretty basic and doesn’t give off any Indian street-food vibes. It’s a self-serve setup, but the food comes out quickly and efficiently.
Overall
A nice spot to check out once if you’re in the neighborhood. Everything is reasonably good, but nothing really makes me want to return when there are better Indian options around the Seattle area.
Still, I’ll give them a solid 3⭐ for the effort they’ve put into recreating Mumbai street food vibes.
the samosa Chaat was easily the best (would get again), followed by the sandwiches (which I would wait before ordering again), and the biryani was overly spiced, and the meat was fatty and hard to chew. we were definitely disappointed by the biryani, but to be fair it wasn’t a highly recommended dish here.
next time i want to try the chili momos (new addition to the menu! 3 days old ), pav bhaji, Manchurian Gobi/ chicken. seriously I’ve been deprived of Indian street food I guess.

ETA: I tried the butter chicken and pav bhaji this time, the butter chicken was good, standard, came with peas rice but I got like three pieces of chicken . pav bhaji was also good, but for the price I think the samosa chaat is a better bang for your buck
The front desk service could use improvement, never saw the lady smile after multiple visits. Dining service is usually fast, can get little slow during busy times. The dining area is functional and offer much in terms of ambiance, and cleanliness well maintained.
Overall, it’s an average experience—not bad, but not particularly memorable. It’s worth a try if you’re in the mood for Indian food, but there’s definitely room for improvement.
Tried and definitely recommend the amritsari kulche chole, chicken kadhai and gajar halva!
Deep and team are doing a great job serving some delicious food.
