Fantastic Indian food in an up and coming area in Doral. You don’t want to miss an opportunity to dine here!
We ordered several meals and shared them as a family. We had the Chicken Korma, Lamb Pasanda, Tandoori Chicken Tikka, and Mango Chicken Curry. All fabulously delicious! Deep, complex flavors paired well with the white rice and garlic and cheese Naan that we ordered!
My one criticism comes with the service. Overall, the service was outstanding except on two fronts:
First, the waiter made it uncomfortable to begin the conversation of a split check. In my opinion, this is absolutely an issue that needs to be remedied by management as systems can easily identify multiple checks. It’s unacceptable to have customers feel shamed by asking!
Secondly, when the bill came, there was a charge of $5 for chutney. Yes, I did see it on the menu after the fact, but that is an offering that is given when you enter the restaurant, and when spending over $300 l, I thought it quite distasteful to add it without asking.
In summary, great food, but needs more leadership to correct their shortcomings.

Pretty snazzy Indian spot in Doral, Bombay Durbar brings homey north Indian food to the hungry eater. The spot is emblematic of Miami – clubby with lofty ceilings, distant ambient music, and a bar.
The menu and the food are unremarkable. This is a clone of any random strip mall restaurant across the country that deals north Indian cuisine. The samosa chat was tangy and sweet as expected. The matter paneer was as spicy as I had ordered. Spicy enough that I had to get a mango lassi to tide me over . But the flavors worked together and I had a good meal.
For the adventurous Floridian this place will work, but for the seasoned (!) and veteran Indian food connoisseur the fare here is blasé.

Bombay Darbar is one of my favorite spots, and I’ve eaten here several times because the food is consistently amazing with authentic Indian flavors. The samosas are always perfectly crispy, the garlic naan is tasty, and both the mango and strawberry lassi are refreshing. The tandoori lamb chops and chicken tikka masala are always tender, flavorful, and cooked to perfection. I finished with the pistachio kulfi which was fresh, creamy, and is made in-house. The service is excellent every time, and Jennifer was especially attentive and friendly. Also Alejandro, the restaurant manager, is very welcoming and ensures a great experience. He takes the time to explain the dishes and make great recommendations. Great location and inviting atmosphere, highly recommend!

The food tasted fine but it was overly expensive and the rice did not come with the curries for free. The portions were the same as most other Indian restaurants, nothing special. The delivery was decent. Overall, it was just very expensive.

Bombay Darbar in Doral is AMAZING!!!! We have been here a few times and have never had a bad experience. The food is so delicious! Today we ate lunch here and our servers Jennie and Guiller were wonderful servers. Very attentive and kind. The manager Alejandro provided a wonderful experience for us. He was so helpful and attentive to our needs. We definitely recommend eating here, not only for the food but for the experience.

What a gem we discovered in the heart of Doral. Bombay Darbar is the best Indian Food in the county. Great food. Great service. The staff is always so helpful and willing to help out. When my wife’s meal was a little spicier than she likes the went overboard to make her happy. Wow they were so accommodating. Zulfiewas our server and is AMAZING!!! We Love this place!

Our Server Sebastian was amazing! It was our first time eating Indian food, and he made it such a comfortable and FUN experience. The atmosphere was super warm and welcoming and the DJ was off the hook! Shoutout to Alejandro, the Restaurant Manager, he knows how to make you feel special and taken care of. We tried the Chicken Tikka Masala and the Butter Chicken. Will be back again to try more dishes for sure.
