Staff is very friendly; Nice and unique treat, adding interesting food diversity for the area.
The masala sauce tastes like tomato sauce. I can totally see why the tikka masala sauce is a popular pizza staple here it absolutely is probably a good base for pizza. Cus all you taste is tomato. I know it’s a tomato based curry but it shouldn’t just taste like straight tomato. The flavor reminded me of chef boyardees’ tomato sauce from when we were kids eating those lil raviolis out the can. I added chicken bouillon and salt and then it was edible for me. But honestly if I didn’t have that I wouldn’t have eaten it and probably would’ve taken it back.
The chicken biryani was okay. If you’ve never had it, It was like an Indian style fried rice. It had spices and its own unique savory flavor. The chicken in it was extremely tender. But the rice itself was bland to me. I ate it with the masala sauce but it still needed some salt and seasoning for me to enjoy it.
I would absolutely try this place again tho.
Despite me needing to add more seasonings the core flavors were good and the chicken was tender. Everyone has their preferences and seasoned food is just mine. So I won’t fault them for that at all. But that masala sauce was just TOO tomato-ey that’s all you really tasted was tomato— && knowing what a great or even average tikka masala truly tastes like, I would not order that again. .
I’m sure the pizza is probably good and I’d probably try the curry chicken next.
